Chapter 16

After school was done I went to go meet Brody by his car like he said.

As I was walking out of the school I saw this red haired girl hugging Brody, my face started to heat up and I felt jealousy course through my vains.

"How could he" I say under my breath, I just ignore him and walk to my car, suddenly I remember Brody drove me to school this morning "great just great" I mutter

When I look over at Brody that red haired girl is gone and Brody is just staring at me with a confused look on his face

"Hey Carmen, where are you going?"

"Im walking home today thank u very much" I say with anger laced in my voice

"Why?" he asks curiously

"You know why you jerk" I spat at him

"Jerk?" He says taken aback

He's now walking beside me with a very confused look on his face

"I saw you with that red haired girl, hugging her!"

"Oh her" Brody says rubbing the back of his neck

"Yeah her!"

"That was my cousin" he says with sadness in his voice

"Oh" I totally regret getting mad at him now

"Im really sorry Brody" I sigh

"Its fine just get in the car" Brody said really sad and annoyed like

"Ok" I say kind of upset too

While we were in the car he had one arm on the steering wheel and the other on the seat separator, when I go and put my arm on it too our arms touch a little and at that second he pulls away from me

"Whats wrong?" I ask

"Nothing" he replies

"No Brody, I know something is wrong just tell me please"

"Its nothing Carmen, just drop it!"

At that second I just decided to drop it so he wouldn't get even more mad.

"Where are we going?"

"To my house"

"Oh sounds interesting!" I say

"Why are you so hyper and happy like?"

"I dont know, maybe its because I got a coffee from the teachers lounge before I got out of school" I chirp happily

"Oh good god, you're gonna be bouncing off the walls" Brody says in a happier mood now

Once we get to his house he tells me to be quiet once we walk in

We quietly go up the stairs and into Brody's room

"So I was wondering if u want to go to Sammy's party tomorrow?"

(Sammy is Brody's little sister)

"Yeah I would love to" I say cheerfully

"Oh and guess what, it's a princess party so she's making us dress up!" Brody says

"Oh sounds fun for you, I've always wanted to see you in a dress, this should be fun!"

"No it should not!"

"Yes it should, and just to make sure Sammy doesnt forget I will remind her for you big guy" I say while patting his chest with a smile

"Ugghh Carmen really" Brody whines

"Really really" I say with an evil smile on my face
