Chapter 12

The next morning I woke up in a different room, I looked around and found no Brody so I got up and walked around the room, it was pretty much empty only a bed and a small tv in the corner of the room.

I open the door and look down the long hallway, I see pictures of Brody when he was a little kid he was so cute I also saw Clair, it must have been his birthday in that picture cause in the distance I see little Kids running around and having fun.

While I was looking at the pictures a hand was put on my shoulder it startled me making me jump a little, I then turned around to see Clair standing there looking strait into my eyes "i-i-im sorry" I stutter out

"Sorry about what?" she asked curiously

"Actually I dont know" we both laugh and Clair asks me if I wanted to see Brody.

I said yes please and she took me to his room, once we got there she left me standing there all alone.

I lightly knocked on his door, to my dismay there was no answer so I slowly crept in his room and saw him sound asleep on his bed all snuggled into the blankets.

I get on his bed and just sit there until I see his eye lids ever so slowly open up and I see his beautiful eyes, when he sees me he smiles like a little kid on Chrismas day.

He sat up and kissed my cheek lightly.

"Can I tell u something?" he asked

"Of course" I reply

"I love u Carmen" he said with a big smile on his face

Wait whoa did he just say he loves me thats so cute but I think hes going a little fast

"Hello Carmen u still in there?" He waves his hand in front of my face.

"Oh yeah sorry"

"Ok just making sure"

I looked at his face and saw a little hurt expression on his face

"Brody can I ask you a question?"

"Yeah totally, ask away"

"Alright, where are we exactly?"

"Oh, we are at my house, is that ok?"

"Yeah of course"

"Ok im glad cause while I was driving you fell asleep and my house was closer so I just came here and I was gonna sleep with you but my mom yelled at me to get out and leave you alone and said that she will be keeping an eye on me" he rambled

We both just laughed

"So what are we doing today?" He asks

"Well I want to find out what happened to my mom and step brother"

"Oh yeah we should figure that out"

"Yeah so I was gonna go to some family members and see if they heard anything" just then my phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Hello is this Carmen koby?" A strange male voice asked

"This is her" I say slowly I then see Brody mouth to me who is it, I just shrug my shouldersat him.

"Ok so your mom and brother are here at Sanchez hospital"

"Oh my god what happened!"

"Well they got in a car crash and got seriously injured"

"Ok im on my way, bye!" I didnt even let him say bye and I hung up

"Brody we have to go to Sanchez hospital thats where my mom and brother are" I say panicking

"Ok let me get dressed and we will be on our way alright?" He says trying to calm me down

"Ok" I sigh

So when Brody changed and brushed his hair we went down stairs and went out to Brody's car and we were on our way down the road.
