~Carmen's POV-

I can still remember that dreadful night, the one I caused that made Brody go to jail

Apparently Jake's dad was the head cop and the school called ahead of time for the police to show up and make sure everyone was safe.

Brody's been in jail for 2 years now, he was charged for fighting and some other stuff people said he did

I visit him a lot but lately he's been denying my visits and says he doesn't want to see me, I just don't understand

I come to the jail everyday in hopes that he will let me talk to him or at the least see his face even if it is through glass

I sit there waiting, I bought him presents for his birthdays but haven't been able to give them to him, I tried to ask the cops to give it to him but he denied the presents
