Chapter 20

I woke up to Brody sleeping peacefully next to me.

He looked so cute when he was sleeping, so relaxed and not stressed

I wonder when I will be able to have dinner with his parents, I'll have to ask him about it today

Brody started to toss and turn and then his eyes slowly opened.

"Morning beautiful" his husky voice said

"Morning princess" I say with a smirk on my face

He got that hard expression as if saying you better start running, I didn't wast anytime in taking the invitation.

As soon as I did he was right behind me, I thought quickly and found a piece of cake on the kitchen counter and took it then quickly turned around and pushed it in Brody's face

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS DID YOU LIKE YOUR CAKE!?" I yelled at him while I was running

I ran up to his room and quickly locked the door, as soon as I did I heard a big bang

"Carmen I swear I'm gonna get you for this!" he yelled

"I think I just heard an eye roll in that sentence!" I yelled back, I heard a frustrated sigh and footsteps walking away after I said that

I shrugged and went to lay on the bed.

~An Hour Or So Later~

I woke up from a nap that I didn't know I was taking and heard something at the door, all of a sudden the door opened and there stood Brody, his hair was all messed up and he had a frustrated look on his face

"Have fun out there" I say sarcastically

"You know, that was a bad move locking the door Carmen" he said with a smirk plastered on his face

At that moment he pinned me to the bed with his hands on my arms and he was hovering over me the moment felt sort of nice in a weird way

"Karma" he says happily

I just look him in the eyes terrified at what's gonna happen next

The next thing that happened surprised me he put ice down my shirt then ran away laughing

I then sat there getting the ice out of my shirt

~ An Hour Later~

Me and Brody were sitting watching a movie when he said "so my mom was wondering if you wanted to have dinner with us, maybe meet my dad?"

"Yeah, sure" I say

"Great cause I was going to make you anyway" he said with a smirk

~That Night~

We were all sitting at the dinner table when the door opens and in walks a tall man with the same eyes as Brody and hair

Sammy runs up to him and hugs him "daddy!" she screams excited

The man smiles giving Sammy a hug and sits down, he stared at me curiously

"Are you the famous Carmen my Sammy has been talking about?" He questions

I nod my head yes and then Brody's mom brings out the food

"Dig in everyone theres plenty"

We all dig in and talk, I had a nice time and I think Brody along with Sammy were happy to see their father.
