Chapter 26As the film ended and the credits rolled up, the audience burst into applause. There was loud clapping and shouts of “Bravo!”
“They loved it,” Wilson said. He turned to Chris. “They loved you.”
I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her. Wilson did, too, as did Jelly, Walt, Ryan, and everyone else in the box. There were hugs and kisses all over the room.
“You were beautiful,”
“That was wonderful.”
“I think we got a hit!”
“Listen to the crowd!”
There were comments all around. Everyone was complementing everyone else and hugging and shaking hands.
Then we heard pops as bottles of champagne were opened and glasses passed around.
