Chapter 25

THIRD PERSON POV Vinny sat in the drivers seat and drove towards their destination as Rámon sat beside him, totally daydreaming about Caterina and how in love he was with her. The twins were following behind them, while three more cars full of their men followed behind them. “So I see you and my sister have finally made up.” Vinny smirked, making Rámon laugh. “We’ve done more than make up, but I’ll spare you the details.” Vinny frowned, not liking Rámon’s smug demeanor and the way he joked about being intimate with his sister. After all, Cat was his little sister. He didn’t care if she was in love or not. She was still his innocent little sister and always will be in his eyes. “Hurt her and I’ll f*****g kill you.” Vinny threatened as his hands tightened around the wheel, “I don’t ever want to hear that you betrayed her or hurt her in any way.” Rámon concealed the doubt he had inside. He knew he was betraying his sister as they spoke, but he had no other choice. He had to keep his two lives separate just so he could keep Caterina. He didn’t want to lose her, no matter how f****d up he was being. Plus, he had a plan. He just needed time to execute it and get rid of that woman who was carrying his child—only after his child was born though. Caterina was marrying him, there’s no way she would turn down raising his child. As long as Veronica was out of the picture, he knew they could make it work. He wouldn’t want anyone else raising his child anyways. He just hoped she would forgive him and let them be happy—together as a family, with the three of them. “I love your sister, I would never hurt her.” Rámon assured Vinny. “You say that now, but I remember when you said that four years ago before you left and practically broke her heart.” Vinny argued, making Rámon sigh out in frustration. “It was complicated back then, but the past is in the past.” Rámon reassured, “I love your sister, there’s no one else that could ever compare.” Vinny smiled, knowing there was some truth to his words. Vinny knew Rámon loved Cat. It was visible to anyone who saw them together. The love in his eyes when he stared at her was genuine and deep. It was the same as when Vinny looked at Sage. Vinny knew Rámon was in love with his sister. He just needed him to know that he won’t be happy if he hurt his sister. If anything, Vinny would kill him. He may not want to, but when it comes to his little sister, he would kill his best friend or anybody else for that matter. “So, are you gonna tell me why you called me away from my woman?” Rámon asked, disputing the tension in the air. “Caught some people spying on our house.” Vinny explained, “At first, we thought it was a weak threat, but then we found out that the men were Chinese. The same Chinese group who attacked our shipments and may have sent that package to our house years ago.” “Have they said who they work for?” Vinny shook his head, “No, they won’t speak at all. My men have been torturing them, but they haven’t said a single word.” “Weird.” Rámon muttered, “I thought the trail went cold since there hasn’t been anymore attacks.” “I thought the same, until early this morning.” Vinny pulled onto a secluded rode that led to one of their warehouses. He pulled through the secure gate and parked the car in front of the warehouse. “If I can’t make him talk, I’d at least expect you too.” Vinny smirked, “You seem to make people squeal like pigs.” “Ha.” Rámon sarcastically laughed, “Very funny.” “It was a compliment.” Vinny chuckled, “Don’t be a pussy.” Vinny jumped out of the car and left Rámon to his own thoughts. Before he could get out and follow him, his phone rung. He pulled it out, noticing that it was one of his men that was guarding Veronica, calling. “Hello?” Rámon answered. “Ah, now you finally answer your phone.” Veronica scoffed out, making him roll his eyes. “How the hell did you get ahold of this phone Veronica?” “I have my ways.” She smugly replied, making him even more annoyed. “What the hell do you want? I’m busy.” Rámon had been ignoring her for the past couple of days since he’s been with Caterina. He doesn’t want to talk to her, but he also doesn’t want Caterina to catch wind of what was going on behind her back. So he’s resorted to ignoring the wicked witch of the west. “I’ve missed you Rámon, our son has missed you.” Veronica whined. “Veronica.” Rámon scoffed, “I don’t have time for this bullshit.” “Is it because you finally f****d Caterina?!” Veronica snapped, finally showing her true intentions “You’ve discarded me as if I’m not carrying your child just because she opened her legs for you?!” “Shut the hell up!” “No!” Veronica snapped back, “I deserve better and you better shape up or I’ll make sure your child never knows you!” “You can’t f*****g threaten me Veronica!” Rámon yelled out, “If I remember correctly, I have the upper hand. You can’t do s**t without my approval, so don’t even think that you have the freedom to make any decisions when it comes to my son.” Veronica went silent, knowing he was right. “Don’t worry, we won’t have to deal with each other much longer.” Rámon chuckled coldly, “Caterina has already agreed to marry me and she will raise my son. Once he is born, I will pay you off to disappear. If you decide to make trouble, then I will f*****g kill you.” Veronica whimpered with false pain in her voice, “You would take your son’s mother away from him.” “He won’t even remember you.” Rámon scoffed, “It’ll be better if you disappear anyways. You wouldn’t be a good mother, not what my son needs.” “Bullshit Rámon!” “I’m gonna only tell you once to stop calling me.” He warned, “The next time you call me, I will make your life a f*****g living hell.” With those words, he hung up. He wasn’t gonna give her a chance to protest or cry to gain sympathy from him, because he wouldn’t give it. If anything, he hated her and was repulsed by everything about her. Vinny pounded on the window, rushing him to hurry up. Rámon stuffed his phone back in his pocket, before getting out of the car and joining the men. He may have felt good to finally tell her off, but he didn’t know the huge storm he just created that was about to blow up his life. He was in for a rude awakening. … Meanwhile, Caterina was napping peacefully until two pests jumped on the bed and woke her up. “Caterina!” Sage screeched, “Why haven’t you been answering your phone?!” “Yeah.” Rowan pouted, “We’ve been waiting for you tell us about what happened on the night of your birthday.” Caterina sat up in bed, noticing that she was still in Rámon’s apartment. “How the hell did you get in here?” Cat questioned as she rubbed her sleepy eyes. “The maid let us in.” Sage replied back nonchalantly, as if it was normal. “I’m sorry Ms. Caterina.” The maid apologized from the doorway. “They said they were your friends and didn’t give me much of a choice.” Caterina took in the older woman that wore a modest maid uniform and gave her a polite smile. “It’s okay ma’am.” Caterina assured, “I’m sorry about them.” The maid bowed, “Can I make you guys anything? It would be my pleasure.” “Yes!” Sage groaned out, “I’m starving.” “Sage!” Cat yelled out before she slapped her arm. “What?” Sage whined, “I haven’t eaten anything since this morning.” Cat rolled her eyes before she turned her attention back over to the maid. “Can you make us a few snacks, please?” Cat asked, “We aren’t picky, so anything will suffice.” The maid nodded her head, “Of course Miss Caterina, right away.” “Milkshakes!” Sage yelled out, “Please make us milkshakes too!” “Of course.” The maid smiled before she wandered off. “Thank you!” Sage yelled back before Cat pulled on her hair and smashed her face into the mattress. “OW!” Sage complained, “Is this how you treat your best friend!” “Oh stop with the dramatics.” Rowan giggled as she looked between Sage and Cat, loving that they were all back together again. They were her only friends and she relished in the way they loved on her and took care of her. The three of them were as thick as thieves. Rowan gasped as she caught notice of the huge rock on Cat’s finger. “Is that a ring?!” “Oh my f*****g god!” Sage yelled out, taking notice of the ring too. “Did he f*****g propose to you?!” Cat blushed as she raised her hand and showed them the ring. “Yes, he did propose.” “Did you say yes?!” Sage screeched, “Tell me you said yes!” “I’m wearing the ring aren’t I?” Cat asked back as she looked at her friend like she was crazy. Sage scowled before rolling her eyes, making Cat laugh. Rowan gasped again before reaching out and touching the hickies on Caterina’s neck and chest, “Are these hickies?” “Oh my f*****g god!” Sage screamed, “You totally f****d him, didn’t you?!” Cat blushed, before burying her face in her hands. She couldn’t take her friends reactions right now, she was still processing everything herself. “Caterina!” Sage demanded, “You better open your mouth and speak!” Caterina sighed out before looking at the both of them. “We had sex.” She mumbled as a cheeky grin made its way onto her face. Sage and Rowan both went crazy as they screamed and jumped on top of her. They seemed more excited than her, as if they were living her life for her. “Alright calm down!” Cat yelled out as she pushed them off of her, “Your gonna wake the neighbors.” “Oh shut up.” Sage rolled her eyes, “Were in a penthouse. There’s nobody on our floor.” Rowan giggled as she looked between Sage and Cat who were just glaring at each other. “So how was it?” Rowan eagerly questioned, “Did it hurt?” Sage dropped her guard and became just as eager as Rowan and started asking questions. “Was he big?” Sage inquired, “What positions did he put you in?” “How many times did you guys sleep together?” Rowan blurted out, “Did you have an orgasm? What did it feel like?” Caterina sighed as she rubbed her temple, feeling like they were gonna give her a headache. “I’m only gonna tell you this once, so listen up and shut up.” Cat muttered, “Yes it hurt at first, but afterwards, it felt amazing.” Subconsciously, a dreamy smile graced her lips as she recalled the intimate moments her and Rámon shared. “Yes he was big..really big.” Cat smirked, making the two girls gasp before they broke out into a fit of laughter. “And don’t get me started about the positions or the way he can make his tongue move. I’ve had so many orgasms that I can’t even count anymore.” Cat giggled, “We f****d in the shower, the kitchen, along with every inch of this place.” The girls roared with laughter and excitement. They were happy for their friend, considering this has been a long time coming. “Our best friend isn’t a virgin anymore!” Sage cried as she wiped fake tears away, making Cat roll her eyes. “So dramatic.” “I’m serious!” Sage sniffled, “Your a woman now.” “Yeah Cat, you’re a woman now.” Rowan agreed, “A married woman at that.” The three of them broke out into a fit of laughter again at Rowan’s words. “I’m not married yet.” “Almost!” Rowan screeched back, “Before you know it, you’ll be barefoot and pregnant.” Caterina gasped in shock with a horrified look in her eyes. The last thing she wanted to be was barefoot and pregnant. She wasn’t ready for that—yet. “Oh my god.” Sage smirked, “We have to let the world know our girl is off the market.” Sage pulled her phone out and went live on her social media platform. She raised her phone and smiled at the camera as she screamed at her fans who were barreling in to watch her livestream. If you haven’t forgotten, Sage is popular. She had more than 500 people on her live stream right now and the views were climbing. “I got the hottest tea out there right now!” Sage yelled out, “My best friend is getting married! Caterina Gambino is finally off the market!” Cat’s eyes widened like saucers as her friend turned the camera around, filming her. “Cat show our fans your ring!” Sage snatched Cat’s hand and zoomed in on the rock that was resting on her ring finger. “Everyone! Say hello to Mrs. Bonanno!” Sage screamed out, making Rowan laugh hysterically as Cat looked too stun to speak. Sage turned the camera over to Rowan who looked nervous by the sudden attention. “My other gorgeous best friend has a few words for our lucky bride.” Sage looked towards Rowan in expectation, putting her on the spot. “Well, I would just like to say that I’m happy for Caterina.” Rowan spoke out softly as she tried to swallow the nerves she felt, “I’ve known you ever since I was a child and I only want to see you happy. I know how happy Rámon makes you and I’m so excited to know that you are marrying the man you have always loved.” Cat’s heart softened at her sweet and genuine words. It made her forget about the camera and the fact that Sage was recording them. “Thank you.” Cat smiled before pulling Rowan into her arms and hugging her. Sage filmed them and sniffled as she looked on with love. “Okay now me!” She yelled out, “I have a few words for the lucky bride!” Cat pulled back, startled by her friends sudden burst of energy. “Caterina.” Sage smiled as she faced the camera, watching all the comments that flooded in on her stream “I am so happy that you get to spend the rest of your life with the one you love. Not only will you have a great marriage, but you will have such great s*x that many woman will envy.” Rowan bursted into laughter as Caterina gasped in shock. Sage!” She yelled out, “You cannot say that!” “What?!” Sage complained, “I was just telling all of our haters how great Rámon is in bed and how nobody will ever know because he is marrying you and spending the rest of his life with you!” “SAGE!” Caterina snatched the phone out of Sage’s hands and looked at all the viewers and comments that were flooding in. “Oh my god.” She looked on in horror. “This is live?!” Practically the whole world just found out she was f*****g Rámon and getting married to him. “Don’t look like that.” Sage pouted, “You know how many woman out there who are vultures and will swoop down to steal your man. At least now they know they never could.” Cat couldn’t help the giggle that escape her lips before she bursted into laughter. “I’m getting married!” Cat yelled out before she showed the viewers her ring. She took pride in knowing she was claimed by him and she wanted the whole world to know. Sage and Rowan screamed out, applauding her. As much fun as they were having, a storm was brewing and ready to hit their area. Little did they know a certain someone was watching their livestream. Veronica tightly gripped the phone in her hand as she watched Sage’s livestream and the way Caterina prided herself in claiming Rámon for herself. Veronica was livid, so much that she wanted to kill all three of them. She looked at the rock that graced Caterina’s finger. It looked expensive, priceless even. She wanted that ring—no she wanted a better ring than something that had already been on her finger. She wasn’t gonna settle for sloppy seconds. “It’s time.” Veronica muttered to herself, “It’s time Caterina knows the truth and how she’s not the only woman in Rámon’s life.” She was gonna pay her a visit. “I’m gonna break your little f*****g heart.” Veronica promised, “Rámon belongs to me.”
