Heir’s Redemption

Chapter 6

Morning— at the Gambino residence.

Cat walked downstairs, dressed in her school uniform— a navy blue plaid skirt that reached above the knees with a white button up, tucked into it. A navy-blue blazer with their schools logo on it, completed the uniform.

She walked into the kitchen to find her whole family eating breakfast. Her mother and father were sharing secrets while laughing together.

There was no doubt in her mind that they were sharing intimate secrets by the way her mother was giggling.

Her brothers ignored the flirty scene and ate their breakfast before they were off to do boss things.

“Caterina!” Her mother gushed as she finally realized Cat was here. “Rámon is gonna take you to school today. When you’re done with breakfast he’ll be waiting outside in his car for you.”

Caterina raised her brows, not expecting her mother’s words.

Rámon was gonna take her to school today? He’s never taken her to school before, why would he start now?

The image of the kiss they shared last night was all she could think about that would explain his sudden actions. Her cheeks unconsciously heated up with blush at the thought of their hot and steamy make out session.

She avoided everyone’s gaze, not wanting them to notice. She grabbed a pancake from the table and stuffed it into her mouth.

“I’ll see you guys later, I don’t want to be late for school.” She walked around the table and kissed her mother’s cheek before kissing her father’s.

“I love you my perfect baby girl.” Her father kissed her forehead and lingered his beefy arms around her.

His baby girl was growing up and it was hard to believe that she was a senior in high school. He could still remember the day she was born and how little she was when he held her in his arms.

To him, it was like yesterday.

“I love you too papa.” She smiled before waving him off.

She kissed her older brother’s cheeks and ruffled Max’s hair.

“Bye Cat, I love you!” Max yelled out as he finally lifted his gaze from his computer screen.

“I love you too Max.”

Max was so smart that he already graduated from high school. He did everything online and his parents were tempted to start him with college, but they knew his intelligence could be used for something better.

Cat left the kitchen and ran towards the front door.

Her heart pounded in her chest from having to see Rámon since last night’s lustful encounter.

She was more nervous than she cared to admit.

She stepped out of the door to see Rámon’s black Bugatti Chiron waiting for her. His windows were blacked out, so she couldn’t see his expression or anything else for that matter.

She kept her usual cold expression on her face and didn’t give her nervousness away—but inside she was totally loosing it.

Before she could make it to the car, Rámon stepped out and walked around the car, meeting up with her.

“Good morning Caterina.” He smiled, looking sinfully handsome.

He wore a dark gray suit that accentuated his eyes that occasionally changed from light brown to grey. He had a black long-sleeve cashmere shirt underneath his suit jacket, showcasing his wide and muscular frame.

Caterina was obsessed.

“Good morning.” She cleared her throat, still tasting the remnants of her mother’s pancakes in her mouth.

Rámon leaned down and kissed her cheek before opening the passenger door and helping her inside.

Caterina composed her racing heart as she watched Rámon walk around the car and get inside next to her. He drove off towards her school that was less than ten minutes away.

They shared an unspoken silence between them, but it wasn’t unpleasant. They both were nervous after last night, but it was the start of something great between them.

“I made plans for us later once you get out of school.” Rámon spoke out, finally clearing the air.

“Plans?” Caterina questioned, wondering what he meant by that.

She always had training after school. She didn’t think her father would allow her to miss it, even if she wanted to.

“A date.” Rámon smirked, “I planned a date for us.”

“A date?!” Caterina screeched, before she could compose herself and ask calmly.

She scolded herself for acting so rash and not composed, like she usually is.

“Yes, a date.” Rámon chuckled in amusement, loving the way he was unraveling Caterina’s usual mature demeanor. “I’m courting you, so of course I have to take you on dates.”

A giddy smile crossed Caterina’s lips as she processed his words.

Courting her?

Rámon Bonanno was courting her?

She didn’t know what to say, but her heart and soul was very pleased with the way he was stepping up to the plate.

“Well, let’s hope you don’t mess up.” She smugly said back, covering up her infectious smile that unconsciously graced her lips.

Rámon laughed, not being able to stop himself.

“Don’t worry baby, I won’t mess up.” His words sent shivers through her body.

Even though there was amusement lacing his tone, he made her a promise. Caterina knew he would do good and not go back on his word.

She sighed in contentment, looking forward to this new journey that pulled her closer to the one she has always loved.

Rámon pulled his car into the school parking lot. There were lots of students who stopped and stared to admire his car, eager to see the driver behind the wheel.

“You certainly know how to make an entrance.” Caterina mused, making Rámon smirk.

“I was born a king Caterina. I will always make an entrance.”

She wanted to tease him, but she couldn’t.

He was right, he was born a king and he would always make an entrance, regardless of his status. He was sinfully handsome too and would always have admirers.

Before she could say anything, Rámon stepped out of the car and walked around until he was opening up her door. He held his large hand out for her and helped her out of the car.

Her small hand fit in his like a glove.

The skin on skin contact brought warmth to both usual cold bodies. They were honestly the perfect pair— cold and ruthless heirs, but held a beating heart that only desired each other.

Rámon and Caterina’s presence caused more people to stop and stare. Their whispers were the next big thing that would be floating around school by the end of the day.

Caterina tried to pull her hand out of Rámon’s, but he held onto her. She tried to resist, but ended up falling into his beefy arms instead. Her cheeks heated up with blush and she felt her body become desirably hot.

“Let’s give them a show love.” Rámon insisted.

Before she could say refuse, he leaned down and smashed his lips to hers. The electricity that sparked between them was major and it even left them feeling charged. Rámon slipped his tongue into her mouth and she very much appreciated it and returned the favor. Before everyone knew it, they were swapping spit in front of the whole senior class.

A sound of a car horn broke them from their steamy make-out session. Caterina’s cheeks were as red as a tomato and she had a hard time trying to control her breathing.

Rámon loved when she looked flushed and embarrassed. He was proud that he could make Caterina Gambino embarrassed in all the right ways.

It was sexy to him.

Caterina opened her mouth to speak, but she just ended up closing it before trying to open it again like a gaping fish.

She was speechless.

Rámon twirled some of her long curls with his fingers as he admired her flushed expression.

“So beautiful.” He whispered, bringing Caterina out of her trance.

“I gotta get to class before I’m late.” She cleared her throat, finally finding her voice.

“Of course, I wouldn’t want to make the princess late.” He teased, causing her to giggle.

He leaned down and brushed his lips against her forehead. “I’ll pick you up later, don’t forget.”

Caterina nodded her head as her eyes danced with desire. She couldn’t help but feel all hot and bothered after what just happened. He was too sinfully handsome to ignore while the raging hormones were erupting inside of her.

She wanted him so bad.

She walked away before she did something stupid. Lord knows it would be stupid for her to jump him and try to make love to him in the middle of the school parking lot.

She looked back to see him resting against his car while lighting up a cigarette. His eyes followed her every move as she moved closer to the school.

God, she was such a lucky lady to have that man obsessed with her.

Rowan and Sage were waiting by the entrance for Caterina. They had a perfect view of the show that took place and couldn’t help but smirk and giggle together.

They knew this would happen, those two have been in love with each other since they were in diapers.

“Some kiss you two shared, huh?” Sage teased as Caterina walked into school with them.

“Don’t even start Sage.” Caterina blushed as she tried to keep her composure.

“How does it feel to finally kiss Rámon?” Rowan questioned with her big green eyes staring at her in anticipation.

Caterina stopped walking and pulled them over to the lockers that lined the wall.

“I will only answer your questions once, so ask away.” She sighed out, knowing they weren’t gonna let her live this down.

With her words, it was open season. The two of them fired questions off, making Caterina’s head spin.

“How does he kiss?”

“Did you have s*x with him?”

“Omg you lost your virginity?!”

“Does he have a big p***s?” Sage questioned, making Caterina huff out in embarrassment.

She’s heard enough.

“Stop!” Caterina yelled as she looked at the two girls in front of her like they were crazy, “No I did not have s*x with him and loose my virginity. As for his p***s being big.. I don’t know!”

She yelled out a little too loud, causing people in the hall to look their way in curiosity.

All three girls laughed, making the weird tension disappear between them.

“So how was the kiss?” Sage asked while wiggling her eyebrows for extra effect.

“It was amazing.” Caterina replied honestly as she had a dreamy look in her hazel eyes, “I didn’t know kissing could make you feel so good.”

The two girls laughed, shocked to see their friend acting like this. They’ve never seen Caterina act so smitten before.

“So that was your first kiss?” Rowan question excitedly

“Of course, I’ve never wanted to kiss anyone but him.”

Sage smiled, happy for her friend who was like a sister to her.

The bell rung, making kids start to run towards their classrooms.

“I gotta go, I’ll see you guys at lunch.” Rowan said out before she jogged down the hall towards her class.

Sage and Caterina shared their first class together so they walked off together, not really caring if they were late or not.

“I’m happy for you Cat, I know how much you love him.” Sage smiled.

“Thanks Sage.” Caterina said back, “Looks like we both will be married soon.”

Sage laughed, knowing there was some truth to that.

“I’m ready to loose my virginity.” Sage sighed out as she looked lost in thought— obviously thinking about Vinny.

“How about starting with a kiss first.” Cat laughed, not being able to deal with her friend talking about loosing her virginity to her brother.

“I already know how to kiss.” Sage retorted, making Cat widen her eyes in shock.

“My brother is gonna kill who ever kissed you.”

“I kissed a girl.” Sage laughed, “I wanted to be prepared for when I was intimate with your brother, so I practiced.”

“A girl?! Who the hell did you kiss?”

“I kissed Amanda.” Sage waved her off like it was no big deal.

“Amanda’s gay!”

“I know, that’s why she agreed to teach me.” Sage retorted, making Cat roll her eyes.

“Well it seems like you’ll be teaching Vinny how to kiss then.” Cat muttered, sparking Sage’s curiosity.

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

“It means by brother has never kissed another woman before.” Cat admitted, “He’s actually never been with a woman at all. He’s waiting for you to come of age.”

“Vinny’s a virgin?!” Sage screeched, not believing Cat’s words.

“I wouldn’t lie about something like that.”

Sage’s heart swelled with pride.

Vinny was really in love with her and only her. She didn’t know what to do with that information.

“No wonder why I made your brother come in his pants last night with just my feet.” She muttered out, not thinking before she spoke.

“What?!” Cat cringed, before gagging like she was sick.

“Oh shut up! Don’t judge me Caterina.”

“I don’t want to hear anything about you and my brother doing nasty things.” Cat spat before covering her ears.

Sage shoved her playfully before dragging her into their homeroom. They took their seats and awaited their professor’s lecture.

Caterina and Sage had different things swirling through their minds.

Sage had an infectious smile on her face as she thought about Vinny saving himself for her. She needed to reward him for being such a good boy.

Little did Vinny know, she was gonna drive him crazy.
