EPILOGUE

THIRD PERSON P.O.V. Dark clouds surrounded the castle, lightning lit up the sky followed by very harsh thunderous sounds. Nature grieved the loss of another child. Moon was nowhere to be seen, hiding away from the world as it couldn’t understand the ways of mankind. Low sound of cries could be heard from a distance. The castle was surrounded by forest from all sides, though it looked like it was near but the forest stretch started from a good distance. The walls surrounding the area were not only for protecting the old structure but also the civilization that lived inside the boundaries though never visible from outside. Galloping sounds of horses alerts the guards on the boundary wall marking the presence of people approaching. A man in mid twenties leading an army of men, women on horses and wolves could be seen. The sound of horns could be heard alerting the guards to open the gates for their king. The man had an aura which would make people kneel in front of him. Even though he had a scary dominant aura, he cared and loved his people. They were the only ones who got to see the other side of him. As he got near to his palace he could see the number of people increasing in numbers, standing outside the gates to make sure it was not a dream. He got down his horse and rushed inside, once what was a place called home filled with laughter and smiles of people was now silent. Too silent to call it a home. The smiling faces of his wife and his kids could not be seen or heard. Where were they? Fear was a word he never knew but today he felt it, and he didn’t know how to handle such situations. “They are in the throne room sire” someone informed him, but he didn’t know who, as all was a blur to him. He ran as fast as he could, the destination a few feet away but he was stopped by his friends and fellow rulers. For once he felt relief as he could finally concentrate on something. “Stop there Xavier. We need to speak” it was William. He looked like he didn’t get a wink of sleep for years, the irony, he never slept. But today he could see bags under his eye. Xavier looked around to see all the rulers but no sign of my family. “Where is she? My wife?” "She's safe," the witch accompanying Aurelia said. Xavier beamed with happiness hearing her words. “Can we talk later? I have just returned from the battlefield and I wish to see the faces of my children and my wife, no offense but I have seen enough of you guys to last a lifetime.” His tone was full of humor as he was excited to see them again after so long. He returned as fast as he could when he heard they brought her back. Yes the enemy has his wife for so long but no matter what they did or method they tried they couldn't get her back. No information about her being alive was available. So as soon as he heard she was back he ended the battle in the shortest time possible. “There is something else, more important information about your wife’s situation.” He turned to the witch queen and frowned, noticing that they all were tense and fidgeting. "And what's the information?" he asked with a strained smile. He was a ruler, a king, he could read people’s faces very easily. No longer feeling any excitement to enter the room he finally lost all the color in his eyes. "She is dead" dead? DEAD? DIED "What did you do?" he growled as his voice roared in the halls of his palace. His voice sounded more like a roar and could be heard in all parts of the palace. The sound of cries stopped. It was as if someone ordered that no one can breathe. "We saved her from her predestined death. We gave her another life. It will save her from this fate and the war and also provide enough time for all of us to prepare and defeat them to save our supernatural world." she said, whimpering as she knew the consequences if the king went berserk. All the people were silent so that they wouldn't provoke the king by mistake. 'Xavier please calm down and let them elaborate' the Beta and the second in command to the king, Zack mind-linked him. It didn’t work even a little bit as the king lost his control and his black eyes were visible rather than his green ones. He started laughing like a maniac. “What war? What world? I ended the battle the minute you said my wife is back and safe in the premises of our home. I killed all of them. I killed those bloody bastards who thought they could win against me. Me! The king of wolves! And you say she is dead? How dare you lie to me?” He was ready to jump on them and tear them to bits and pieces. William was fast enough to hold him down and restrain him. “Let them speak Xavier, please you always believe in what i say don't you? Then please let them complete” "Elaborate" he commanded as he tried to calm himself and his wolf. "Xavier the queen was immune to silver and wolf's bane but what she was not immune to is the virus they injected in her. They experimented on her. This virus is called 'MARBURG' as named by the mundanes (humans) but it has different effects on us. For Lycans or wolf's it can be a poison that turns us into a demon. A nephilim to be specific and we lose our control. We are also sired to the ones who gave us the blood to transform into a demon. And as destined she would have died when she would have killed you. We can't lose you both at the same time. Your people need you, and your children are still waiting for their father. We transferred her soul with all her powers into an unborn child into one of our witch coven members' family. They have stopped using witchcraft since they are too old and their children were born with dormant powers so they were never an active member and are living like mundane people. She will be safe there and when she turns 18 she will be drawn towards you as you were and still are her mate. She is technically not dead, that is why you didn't feel the bond breaking. Your souls are still bound together" Aurelia said. “She will get her memories back in pieces when the time comes and when she turns 18 she will be ready to find you. Then we will help her gain her memories back or if the need arises we can transplant all her memories and she will resurrect her powers again. Till then we need to find an antidote to this virus to avoid any situation similar to this and train hard. Our queen has given us enough time to be ready, though you say that you killed everyone on the battlefield but that's the thing. That was not the complete army our enemy had gathered. And when we attacked their base they were almost out of there, we couldn't kill many of them but we do know that their leader is still alive and they will come back. They only left because they knew their experiment failed on her and she was going to die, but before that she would have gone berserk with powers and killed us all. So they fled. But a queen is always a queen. She kept her sanity till the end to cooperate with us. Also" the witch from earlier continued, "when she will revive her powers she will be one of her kind as she still has the nephilim with her. she will be able to control it and will be the ULTRA LYCAN." the witch queen said. "you mean she will be re-incarnated?" one of the Alpha’s behind me asked curiously. "Yes, our queen Ophelia will be reincarnated." All the eyes were on the king on what he would decide. After pondering for a few minutes he finally regained control though his face was hard with no expressions. "So be it. Start preparing all the armies and soldiers. Aurelia, take all the necessities for making the antidote. Don’t make me regret this decision. Make full use of the time the queen has given us by her sacrifice. Put out the word. Let's end the war when the time comes. Because next time they will pay for the personal damages too." the king said to all the people present in the hall. "Zack, prepare for the funeral so that we can pay our respects to our queen and the warriors who lost their lives protecting their queen." Xavier said to his beta. His voice broke at the last sentence. But he controlled himself because he was a king. A KING Being a king without a queen was the hardest thing Xavier couldn't even imagine but he had a ray of hope to be reunited with his love and his mate. A pair of arms attached to his legs. He looked down to see his son. He smiled with tears in his eyes and he got down on his knees and opened his arms to console his son. Yes, he had to be the best father for them and make them strong enough for the future. Later that day. "I will see you soon my queen, mi amore, till later. Always and Forever" He said standing in front of the stone of an empty grave in honor of his queen. He turned around with his black eyes as his human side was gone. And it will be gone until he meets his mate. A/N: Yeah I know it's been years. I actually deleted this app, was more into w*****d but then suddenly felt the need to open this again. And guess what I found? Freaking 4.9k reads?. And then I read my own story to get so many cringes that I can't say? so I am a good reader and I read a lot of books. Trying to implement it here. Though writing is very hectic. Updates would be slow. I am 22 now and maybe as Madara Uchiha said I woke up to reality. So to appease you all I am writing something that is a little less cringe worthy and more reading worthy. Thank you and I don't even know what I wrote but you guys appreciated it so thank you. Please don't be angry. I am settling a lot of things in life. So updates will be slow. warning ⚠️. But there will be updates no more hiatus.
