What's up with Ann

Terra's Stance

While I was walking I could sense someone presence in the woods and I started hearing footsteps and I turned around but there was no one there.

I still was not convinced and I started running with the deer on my neck and I started hearing the sound of someone running behind me too and I hastened my steps before some minutes I already reached the village and my mind was at rest when I saw that I was back here and I proceeded to go home but I still had this gut feeling that someone was following me.

I tried very hard to believe that I was now alone and I went to my little apartment, I stay here with my close friend we have been together since the very beginning She was the one who saw me wandering in the village and we stayed together in this little house ever since then apparently this was her parents house.

She suffered the same fate as me she lost her family when she was very young although i don't know much about her parents she always seem to change the topic whenever it comes to her parents she also didn't tell me what and how her parents died I am very curious to know what she is hiding and I know that she won't be able to keep it away from me for too long.

I got home and dropped the deer I went inside I yelled "Hey Ann I'm home and I also brought dinner" I was kinda excited but Ann was no where to be found that's weird I searched the parlour, kitchen but she wasn't there I guess she is in the room then so I just went to the room before i could go in I heard a sound like something dropped and that made me stop then I heard Ann's voice she sounds like she was in some kind of pain and I peeked through the hole in the door and Ann looked very unsettled and uncomfortable then I saw Ann inject herself with a syringe and she suddenly calmed down and all the veins popping in her head calmed this scene in front of me actually shocked me because i haven't seen Ann in this kind of situation before and it is quite surprising.

I stood transfixed at the spot but I Started hearing footsteps approaching the door and I scurried away and sat on the couch like nothing happened and soon Ann came out and she looked very surprised to see me.

"Oh....Terra when did you come in, I had no idea you were already back home" Ann said she sounded very nervous

"I actually came some minutes ago" I said trying as much as possible not to make her suspicious

"Hope you didn't have to wait for me for too long" Ann said as she sat down on the other couch

"No, I didn't wait too long besides where were you tho?" I said

I could see her tense up "I just had to use the toilet that's why" She said

"Okay, well I just thought of eating fresh meat so I went to the woods and killed something. I kept it in the kitchen " I said and she stood up

"Nice at least we get a good meal tonight" She said as she started walking to the kitchen and my eyes shone as I saw scratches on her back I looked closely and It dawned on me that it was Claw scratches
