Chapter 4 :Bite Mark

Terra's Stance

I was running in the woods and I felt my body hitting the ground hard, I just stumbled on a stone and I could hear footsteps approaching me and I stood up and started running again but I was already very weak and before I could take two steps I could feel someone grab my hair and my body was flung to a tree and my body hit the tree hard and I could taste my own blood.

I raised my head to see who was doing this to me and right in front of me was a vampire. He has glowing red eyes and lips were very red like they were painted with blood. His facial features were also very amazing as he was so handsome.

He had Beautiful eyes and A very beautiful long pointed nose, his lips were thin, small and shaped very nicely

His red eyes glistened when he saw me in that weak state and his lips curved into an evil smirk he was looking at me like I was his prey and he licked his beautiful red lips and in a flash he was beside me.

He grabbed my hair and his lips were just an inch from my neck and I could feel his fangs on my neck and I screamed hard and I woke up to reality. I heaved a sigh of relief it was just a nightmare. I had no Idea how I'm on my bed in my room and I scanned the room but couldn't find Ann.

I went to the living room but she also wasn't there and I started hearing rattling from the kitchen she's probably making breakfast so I went to check on her and greet her good morning.

"Hey Ann, Good morning" I said and Ann looked very happy see me and she came to hug me "Good morning Terra, How do you feel now?" She asked with care clearly heard in her words, she must have been really worried

I had no idea what happened after I came back yesterday but my dream was a result of what I saw but I definitely can't tell Ann what happened

She's already acting suspicious enough but apart from that She would be too worried and I don't want that

"Oh, I feel much more better now" I said and tried to change the topic " Wow, what smells so good In here what are you making"

"I'm making Stew with the deer you killed yesterday the meat was much so I'm using the rest for the stew we're eating rice" She said and turned around to check on the food

"It'll be done in a couple of minutes" She said with a smile on her beautiful face, Ann has always been so beautiful ever since she was young she was so adorable and cute now she's grown into a young beautiful woman

"So while you're cooking, Let me go freshen up" I said and went ahead to take my bath I went to the bathroom and took of my clothes I took the soap and started scrubbing my body I noticed a scratch on my neck and I gently touched it, it was grazed like as if it was a bite mark.

My eyes shone wide when I came to realization, This was the spot on my neck the vampire leaned on in my dream, Now it looks like what happened in my dream was actually real, this can't be happening did the vampire bite me.

My head kept on spinning and I hurriedly took my bathe and went to dress up, while I was dressing my eyes constantly kept going to the scratch on my neck

I wore a pencil jean and my sweater there's actually a lot of cold lately since it's winter and there's snow too so I wore my Pullover and went to the sitting room Ann was already eating and she told me to get my food in the kitchen I went to the kitchen and came back and I started eating we started chatting.

"Ann, I have to admit this is so delicious" I said stuffing my face with food

"Yeah I know right, I also want to taste your food but you can't cook" She said with a cocky grin

"Are you Teasing me right now, you know I have a lot on my plate and cooking isn't for me" I said still stuffing my face I'm almost done with the food

"Yeah, you're right" She said

"Ahh, I'm done I have to get going I already told you I'm going to Ryan's place" I said and went to keep my plate and took my pocket knife I always kept this you know for security reasons

I could see Ann roll her eyes as she stood up and escorted me " Be back before Dinner time don't make me wait for too long" Ann said and waved me off

"Okay Ann, I'll back much more sooner then you expect, I love you" I said

"Love you more" Ann said and did a finger heart, She just made me blush and I just turned around and went ahead to Ryan's.

Ryan's house isn't too far from mine and this village isn't too big either.

Ryan's house is just a nice bungalow, he's the only one living here so there's lot of space and he has lots of privacy too

I knocked on the door and I heard his voice "Come in Terra" When I heard that I froze how did he know that I was the one

I entered but surprisingly he wasn't in the parlour "Ryan where you at?" I said

"I'm taking a shower I'll be out soon" He said and I waited

His house has always been a very nice place to tour, he has so many things to see probably because he lives alone so he's probably making his self busy with all these stuff and while I was roaming his house I saw a book.

It had a very nice cover and it looked very attractive and on the cover was a vampire holding a human, it's head fixed on the human's neck sucking blood The book was titled LIFE AS A VAMPIRE

I was already very intrigued by only the cover and I had no idea when I started flipping the covers I sat down and was already very lost in the book and had no idea when Ryan came out of the bathroom.

I suddenly felt someone tap me and call my name I was already so lost it was like the book was sucking my soul I heard My name and looked and saw Ryan he was looking at me with a worried expression

My heart skipped a beat when I saw Ryan he just took his bath and his towel was just beyond his waist leaving his upper body open for me to see

His Abs were so toned and I longed to touch it his hair was dripping with water making him look so hot his ocean blue eyes made me drown in my thoughts

Ryan has been the only guy in my life and he is really really attractive and I can't help but admit that I have fallen for him his charm gets me every time. He's my crush and I've liked him for a long time now and I think he likes me too.

I was already lost just staring at him when I heard him call my name and I cleared my throat, this is an awkward situation as he can see I'm clearly staring at his body

"Umm, You should have dressed up before coming you know" I said trying to defend my self

He smirked and said " I was just worried cause you didn't respond when I called out to you, And it also doesn't look like you're angry too, You definitely like what you see" He said clearly flirting

I smiled nervously and I missed the shine in his eyes when he saw the book I was reading and he hurriedly grabbed it from me

"You shouldn't be reading that" He said with warning clearly visible in his tone

"But I'm really intrigued" I said pouting a bit and he just said "Terra, I'll be back let me go get dressed" and he took the book with him
