THE world has finally turned slower. The night is finally here to end the long and noisy day. As the sky change its color some lowkey waited for the moon to come out. But it stayed hidden tonight.
All spent the few hours left until bedtime in their own preferred ways. While some spent it in parties and colors, others tried to spend it as quiet as possible to help them sleep better. Light dinners shared in small talks and laughter, and probably wrapped up with jasmine tea or can of beer over movies. The bed was the last destination.
The bed feels warm. Either because of the thick blanket or the one at your side. Small talks could be shared on turned off lights until one finally drifts off to sleep. The world, in its attempt to turn slower to keep people asleep tried its best to give the warmest night to even cold nights. But it’s never warm enough to rest your soul.
Why you can’t fall asleep?
I... I can’t sleep.
Nothing― nothing can be seen in this pitch black darkness. But it’s weird that I somehow can see. What were those? Were those shadows and reflections? Something creeping into the night, were they all there waiting for the light to fade to show themselves?
What could one see on the vast darkness? Will it be the most truth or the most lie?
What part of me is open for everyone to see on deep night?
It’s dark here.
I need the sun to shine on me. Whatever form it is.
