Riek's POV
"I'll employ a nanny to take care of him."
"Where will he live, on the same estate as Chloe?"
"No, as you wish. He'll stay somewhere else."
"Can you make me understand something?"
"Yes, what?" His gaze steadies rigidly on me, I sense him itching to hear the question I have to ask. I keep a little bit of silence in between to put my thoughts in order.
"What's your intention of keeping two sisters at the same time when you claim you want me to stick to you to be Alpha?"
"Let me shock you, I broke up with her."
"Tell me you're kidding, I can't believe that. That means my son is safe then." I say almost to myself. I notice Conri frowns, I'm confused with his reaction. "Is there anything wrong with what I just said?"
