FORBIDDEN CONTRACT

Emma opened her eyes sluggishly the next morning, she felt pain in her waist to her shoulder but she shrugged it off and walked to the bathroom.
Thankfully, Rican wasn't beside her anymore and she was glad. After taking a quick bath, she walked back to her room.
Turning her head to the small table beside her bed, she noticed her glasses are still there. She touched her face briskly and opened her mouth.
”I can see? I can f*****g see without my glasses!” She yelled and wore her dress. As usual, it's a pair of denim jeans with some old sweater she got from her grandmother beforeshe died.
Done, she walked out of her room and tried checking Adams in his room but he wasn't there.
After this, she rode her bicycle to school.
Once she entered the school, students began to murmur words to themselves, they keep talking and pointing to her face.
Honestly, that's the first the she would go to school without her glasses. She opened her locker to take her next book for class but something struck her.
Before leaving the house, she didn't check herself in the mirror-like she had been doing since grade 8 because of her ugliness but now?She grabbed at herself in the mirror again, her jaw dropped.
To confirm it, she ran to the bathroom mirror and checked herself well. Yes, of course, she wasn't dreaming, she looked gorgeous.
It looked like she had done plastic surgery overnight. Her dull Hazel eyes had brightened up and her thin lips became awkwardly fuller. Her cheeks are well outlined with a fine contour and her forehead? they looked moderate.
To top it, her hair became longer. Naturally, her hair stops at her shoulder but now, it's dangling at her waist.
How come she didn't notice this before?!
”What the f**k happened to me?!” She yelled ”Huff” A foghorn voice sounded behind her.
She glanced at the doorpost, of course, the despicable god stood at the corner, his hands folded across his chest and he watched her with Ecstasy.
”Did you do this to me?!” She yelled but quickly covered her mouth in order not to attract people.
He rolled his eyes, a grin plastered on his smooth face.
”You think you're gonna spend a night with a powerful god and you won't be different ” he gave a scoff that let out ”You're so dumb!”
She bit her lower lips, her face fell to the floor. She didn't know what to feel, to be excited or sad about her developing fate?
Rican felt bad and walked slowly to her presence. He pinched her chin and made her raise her face to him.
”Emma, you're so strange. So many girls will kill to be in your position right now and you're sad about it?” He raised his brows and pinched her chin harder.
With a mockery scoff, she moved backward and scowled at him.
”Every normal girl right now would be in class or hang out with friends or their partner and not with a freaking cold god!” She yelled.
Rican stared at her unbelievably, he smiled at her then roughed her hair. ”Emma, who told you that you're like every normal girl out there? You're different, didn't your mother tell you....” He stopped midway when he noticed she didn't know.
”My mom? What are you talking about?” She asked, her eyes dilated? She walked closer to him.
” It's nothing ” He replied flatly. His face held no expression.
Before she could say another word, Rican had vanished. She looked around, a gusting breeze blew on her as she did.
Shrugging the thought off, she left for class.
After class, she decided to go back to the dorm. As she took a turn, she bumped into SummerHathaway, Freddie's girlfriend.
Unlike before, Summer's face looked sober like she had been crying. Noticing Emma, Summer quickly sprang her hands around her neck and sobbed harder.
Shocked, she raised her hand to her back and pat her slowly. ”Shuhhhsh” She comforted her.
Summer raised her head and sniffed harder.
”Emma, Freddie... Freddie Died this morning” She announced and sobbed harder.
”What?!” Emma yelled. She suspected Rican to be the culprit. She had warned him earlier to leave Freddie alone but what did he do? He killed an innocent human being just because he is a powerful god. Fear mixed with anger crept into her heart. She wished she could get rid of him immediately. Although Freddie has been very bad to her, Summer included but she would never wish for their death.
She held summer's hand and comforted her.
”You'll be fine. I have to go” She uttered and left quickly.
There should be a way to get rid of that god, he can't just come into her life and be a control freak.
Since that god had been in her life, her life had been nothing but a freaking mess.
Arriving at her dorm, she took out her history textbook and read more on Ghoid town and god Rican. She couldn't find anything to get rid of him so she browsed it online.
”Petal leave grounded with honey?” She read online...
Immediately, she browsed where she could find it, it turns out she brought some of it from Ghoid town.
After grinding it with honey, she held it in her hand and expect him to show up. He didn't show up until evening.
”I didn't do it” His voice sounded low and weak. She wondered why but anything that affects the ruthless god is not her business.
”Don't use that against me” he added disembodied. ” it is nice to see you're scared of something ” She muttered and looked around for him but he still hid.
”I'm not scared, you should be” He finally appeared.
His slender body appreciated the black robe he wore, his face looked pale like he was tired and had fought.
”Why are you looking like that?” She asked, her face squeezed in worry.
”Wow, my wife is worried about me” He smirked and walked closer to him.
”Wife?! I'm not your wife, you ruthless god!” She yelled and turned her back against him, she cuffed her palm harder.
”True! You're not yet my wife because those stupid people won't arrange our marriage. But, Dear wife, you don't have to worry, I'll settle it soon” His hand slowly went through her waist, she felt cold but oddly comfortable
He touched her hair slowly,
”You killed Freddie!” She yelled and turned around. Unconsciously, the petal leaf mixed with honey touched his smooth face.
Immediately, his face turned horrible, a large sour appeared on his face with blood all over it. It creeped Emma out that she fell to the floor, his face didn't look like a human face anymore.
He suddenly faced her, she let out a shrill scream as he approached her.
”Don't...don't come near me, please!” She yelled and moved backward with her butt.
However, Rican face became normal, he let out a peal of mockery laughter and sat on her bed.
To Emma, he seemed playful and childish. The petal leaf does not affect him, he only did that to scare her.
She wiped the tears off her face and faced him angrily.
”You really are childish and evil. You kill a human and here you are acting so damn childish!” She yelled and poked her finger across his face.
”You don't know your husband? I didn't do it. Freddie did it to himself. He created a forbidden contract”
”Contract? What contract? What forbidden contract?!” She asked at once.
