Allen’s POV
“When we come together each year we choose a human to be sacrificed to the moon goddess, I know you all would be wondering who the sacrifice would be, I have it all sorted out. Make that poor mortal crawl his way to me” He ordered as I watched Alex whip a weak young lad.
“Why would he be sacrificed? He’s human and he’s gone through enough pains already I can’t let this happen” I roared within my thoughts. I held the young lad by my hands and announced.
“You all find another human to sacrifice but not this one. Don’t you know that he had a future? Don’t you know he had a family? This isn’t right why would you end a life to receive blessings from a god that doesn’t exist” Everyone listened to my words as a man wearing a shocked look on his face kept his attention glued to Damien.
“Alpha Damien why would you bring a human to our gathering? She’s nothing but s nuisance and disrespecting our god is off the books she would be punished for her crimes.” Everyone was marbled over the fact that I stood against their traditions.
“She would face the seven days of purification for blasphemy. How dare you insult the moon goddess.?”
“Let her be Gamma… she would be used as the sacrifice before the night of the full moon”Damien announced as he stepped down from the podium, he was pissed. I hesitated to walk behind him but Alex forced me.
“I don’t understand his words Alex, can you explain the meaning of his words” I could tell that Alex could hear my heart beating fast like a race I knew I wasn’t going to win.
The drive was silent as I hesitated to speak or move an inch cause I could tell that he was furious all thanks to the overzealous side of Allen,
“Have you ever thought of what happens to peasants who disobey their masters?” he broke the silence finally but those words actually curled up fear in my veins.
“I… I don’t know” he didn’t say a word until we got home.
When we got home he dragged me to his room, I couldn’t deny the fact that I felt happy over the fact that he raised me up to his arms through the stairs but as soon as I felt good about it he dropped me and dragged me to his room,
“My dress is soiled” I complained as he approached me wearing a smile on his face.
“It’s not yours, that dress is more than your family’s worth and I soiled it myself cause you don’t deserve the privilege to keep that dress”
“What’s wrong with him?”
“You don’t even speak to your thoughts without my consent” he roared into my ears, wrapping his hands around my neck.
“How did he listen to my thoughts?”
He released the grip on my neck and stormed out of the room. I felt very worried and scared wondering if I should go after him or stay back and wait for him.
A lot of thoughts surging through my head as I realized how lonely it felt not to be loved but tossed aside and dejected, treated like an item. My life’s wrapped around obeying orders I guess I would never get to instruct anyone in my life.
I listened to a loud scream, I dashed out of the room to see for myself, I was shocked when the house was filled with people, I could tell the man that carried Damien on his shoulders was his father, I wondered what happened to Damien.
“Who’s she ?” He roared as he locked eyes with my eyes.
“She’s Damien’s escort for the gathering we had earlier”
“Damien was attacked and we don’t have an antidote to the poison used, I’m afraid Damien won’t make it out of this alive” I watched his father raise the man up with his hands, I wondered where they got this inhuman strength to lift people like toys.
“What is wrong with Damien?” I stuttered as I got closer to Damien, I looked at the hole on his chest, I shivered at the sight of the hole.
“Why would Damien take a human as his escort?” I heard his father say those words.
“Aren’t you all humans why would you treat me like I’m garbage or I don’t have a life. I do have a life but it’s messed up and I don’t want to mess another man’s life or anyone’s life, maybe living and dying alone would be better” I roared as I shamed my hands on Damien’s body, the man screamed with his eyes wide open.
“How did you do that?” He asked as I stopped to look at him.
“Do what?”
“You touched him and I saw the spark, are you the Lycan’s breeder?” He asked as he adjusted his glasses.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about mister? You’re getting me confused using words that I don’t understand”
“You are the prophecy, you carry his child and it is said that once the Lycan finds his human breeder it saves him from all the pains and torture in the world. You have the ability to heal Damien and save him”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about… you know what I’m leaving, I’m sick and tired of this.” As soon as I walked past the Doctor I saw a very dark monster looking more like a wolf, he had sea green eyes and his silent growls left me screaming as I didn’t even realize when I lost consciousness. I collapsed.
“Where am I?”
“You have to save my son Allen, I apologize for scaring you to this sudden slumber but I need your help you have to save Damien I don’t want to lose him just like I lost his mother, he’s the only one I have left. What do you want in return? I’ll give you anything, houses, exotic cars anything just name it and it’s yours” I was marveled at how calm his father spoke to me.
“I don’t have the ability to heal him”
“Yes you do, you’re his breeder, you’re carrying his child in you, even if it hasn’t revealed itself. You would be part of us soon” he divulged as he walked me back to where Damien laid with his veins making movements.
“You just have to place your hands on his body and let yourself free and then you connect with him and bring him back to us. You can do this Allen” as soon as I touched him, it felt like I was in a new different world.
“What are you doing here?” A hand mixed with fur touched me as I turned to look at the owner of the voice.
“Holy f**k what are you?”
