GABE KEPT THE YACHT at a steady pace, and it wasn"t long before the shores of Pearl island faded from Morgan"s sight. While he was occupied with steering the yacht, Morgan looked around the deck, searching for the insurance policy Winnie had left her. It took her a moment of searching before she located it and had to laugh at the vessel that the older woman had used. Morgan wasn"t sure where she had found it, but Winnie had used a small child"s toy chest shaped like a pirate’s chest. It was made of cardboard and would fall apart the minute it got wet, but it gave Morgan a chuckle. Opening the top of the box, she burst out laughing, knowing full well that Winnie had selected the items inside both to make Morgan smile and turn her nose up at Cora.
Gabe heard her laughing and shut the engine
