IT WAS CHRISTMAS DAY. Presents had been unwrapped, a huge breakfast feast consumed, and now everybody was resting comfortably. But Morgan was restless; there was something bothering her that she couldn"t put her finger on. What she needed was a walk by herself on the beach to clear her mind. Cordelia was half asleep on the couch, curled up with Misty. Gabe was sound asleep in the lounge chair, having eaten way too much. Morgan smiled at the picture of the two of them and then, writing a quick note, grabbed her jacket and started out the door. Then she remembered something and ran up to the library.
