Vivienne's POV The room was quiet, too quiet and I hated every bit of it. It was the kind that made every small movement, every breath I took, echo loudly in my ears. Even the wall clock in the corner seemed to be fortelling my doom, instead of the usual time it was meant to. Outside, the crickets were having a field day, and even though I would normally do everything in my power to make sure they kept quiet, I couldn't believe I didn't mind their company at the moment.
