Days passed, a blur of colors, feelings, and a secret eating me alive.
The wound doesn’t hurt as much anymore, and I’m able to move around faster now. Although, I’ve still not tried to shift yet.
Four days ago, I would have had to prep myself before rolling over, but now I’m able to walk around the room with ease.
All my meals have been brought up to me with the server dropping them at the door with a knock and leaving without a word.
My fingers toy with the piece of paper in my pocket as I think about what it contains. I don’t need to look at it to remember as the words are now engraved in my mind. I still haven’t decided how to move forward with it, even after four days.
I had thought about taking it to Xavier. More than once, but I stopped myself every time.
