CHAPTER 17-ROXANNA'S POV

The woods could be a peaceful place but also the beacon of danger. My sisters and I were all in our supernatural form, we ran along the trees in the woods and searched in hope for a scent or a 3 headed demon. Aubrey; Chelsea and I went towards the one direction while Analia; Mackenzie; Serena and Camila went the other direction. Through our pack link-they were very quiet , I could sense their anxiousness. While running I would tend to look back to see if Aubrey and Chelsea were behind me but when I looked back, they weren't there. I stopped in my tracks and looked all around me, I called them in the pack link but they never responded. I heard hissing and growling but I couldn't determine which direction it came from- I could feel eyes on me so I looked all around again, my eyes turned to its werewolf color.

The sounds started again-I could hear trees falling, twigs breaking and I could hear screams and then I heard running-the ground trembled beneath me. Oh no its the 3 headed demon! I wasn't sure if I should run or stay so I did the latter. I prepared myself for battle and waited until I see a figure running towards me. ''Run!'' I see Chelsea running towards me indicating me to run so I do, I run and she catches up with me. I was about to jump over a log until she pushes me towards the other direction almost making me lose my balance. I ask her through the mind link what's going on but she ignores me.

She stops running and looks all around, I see the rest of my sisters on guard forming a circle. ''Shift back to normal and form a shield around us!'' Serena's command makes me immediately shift, I pick my hands up and use the trees to my advantage. ''Hurry up its coming!'' Mackenzie alerts me making me put more effort in it. The shield started forming around us like a huge pentagon. ''One more side, hurry they almost here!'' I turn my back , my magic binds with the trees making it enclose with magic. As soon as I formed the shield, my hands and knees dropped to the ground-its been a long time since I used so much magic.

''Come on get up! this is not yet over!'' Camila instructs me making me look at the shield around us. I see Serena walking near the boundary of the shield and then I see the 3 headed demon- it looks at Serena with its pitch black eyes and then walks away and runs back colliding itself with the shield making the whole shield quiver. I get up and walk towards Camila-her claws and canines were out. '' Hey what is Serena doing?'' she looks at me with her light orange werewolf eyes. ''Trying to find a weakness!'' I look away from Camila and look back at Serena- Serena walks back to us and we all gather around. ''Listen up kiddos, they going to get in , this shield is not going to last so I suggest you all go full out and use everything you got! myself and Camila will distract them while you guys protect yourself!''

It made no sense to me -2 against a 3 headed demon , it wont work! '' no I refuse, I'll help you guys !'' ''Roxanna you will stay with the rest of them and help them since you the tribrid , you have an advantage. '' Serena tells me.
