Sofia's POV :
Dad and I entered my room. Everything was same as it was when I left. I felt warmth in my heart at the same time I was also nervous as to what it was that my father wanted to talk to me about. It was a silence in the room as nobody was saying anything, Dad was looking out of the window as if he was thinking something. I broke the silence and asked " Dad.. you want to tell me something ? "
Dad looked at me and said emotionally, "Princess, I know I was not able to give you my time and affection properlly after your mother's death. I had too many responsibilities to handle alone and my wolf got weak afyer losing our mate. I apolosized for that but you know that you are my precious princess and I love you so much." I had tears in my eyes and I said " I know dad that you love me and I love you too, you are all I have after mother's death. " Dad patted my head and said, " After all these years, I fought hard and managed pack but now I got aged and I was not in good health, I didn't have heir to lead the pack and you don't have your wolf, so for your safety and for sake of pack, I have arranged your marriage with Alpha Zander Knight of Blood Moon Pack. He is very powerful and strong. He is 27 years old and mateless. He is my best friend's son and I trust him that he would protect you and hadle the pack if anything happen to me. He agreed for the marriage. I hope you would also agree as it is for the best for everyone and I could be relieved."
I was shoked to hear that, I didn't know what to reply to dad. Yes, I know I could not be heir or alpha of pack because I have no wolf and I am human. I also knew that may be I did not have mate either, but deep down I hoped for that or I hoped to get married to someone I liked or loved in future but right now I had to fulfill my duty as Alpha's daughter, I know dad is worried about me and pack. If something happened to him, Alpha Zander would lead and protect pack. So for dad and for sake of pack , I have to agreed to this marriage because I promised mom that I would be a good girl and would listened to dad and look after him and myself. dad suffered a lot alone and I wated to help him, so after thinking for a while I nodded and said, " yes dad, I would marry Alpha Zander. "
Dad had smile on his face and proud in his eyes. " I am very happy that you agreed for this marriage I know I made a very important decision of your life on your behalf but trust me you wont regret it and it good for everyone. You are my lovely daughter, Thank you sweetheart. " said dad and kissed my forehead. " Your marriage ceremony would be held on full moon which is next week " informed dad. I nodded and dad took his leave after telling me to get some rest and asked me to prepare for marriage. I was so exhausted physically and emotionally that I went to bed and fall asleep immediately.
