Chapter 29

Shelly POV:

I get up off my sleep to the sound of my alarm. Damn. I want to sleep more. I sat up on my bed and yawned. I sat on the bed with my eyes closed for five minutes then I get up and go to washroom.

I do my morning business then go to kitchen to make breakfast. I glanced at the wall clock and see that it's six in the morning. I make the breakfast then I go to Shaina room.

When I get in her room I see ,she's already awake. Aww my sweet Gemstone . She looked at me and smile.

"Morning mamma" she said in her sleepy state.

I go to her and take her in my lap. Then I kissed her on her head.

"Good morning my Gemstone "

"Come let's take a bath" I tell her and take her to the bathroom. Then I gave her a bath and get her ready for her school.

When we came out from her room, Dolly's already up and sitting on the breakfast bar.

Shaina ran to her and she take her in her arms.

"Aww ....good morning my munchkin you all ready to go" Dolly said to her in baby voice.

Shaina smiled at her."morning auntie "she said to her and kissed her on her cheek.

"Good morning Shelly " Dolly said me.

I greet her back and served the breakfast. We ate the breakfast and then I send Shaina to her school.

Her nanny will be here when she come from her school. Her name is Brenda and she's a very sweet girl ,in her late thirties. She loved Shaina so much. Today she had some work so she's not here.

I call her and tell her that I'll be leaving for office. She tell me that she will be here when Shaina will come from school. She also knows about my aunt. So she sometimes take Shaina there as well.

" you ready to go" Dolly said to me when she came from her room.

"Yeah....what are you doing today" I asked her while packing my laptop and phone in my bag.

"I'll be home today...I have to meet some friends then I will go to check my new college" she said excitingly.

I smile at her.

"OK kiddo....enjoy and if you need anything just call me" I said to her.

She hugged me and we say goodbye to each other.

I reached in the parking area. I exit the lift then my phone start to vibrate. I go to my car and open it. I put my bag in it and take out the phone from my pocket.

I glanced at the screen and Yash name flashed on it.

I took the call and sat behind the steering wheel.

"Hey shell good morning " he said on the other end of the phone.

"Good morning " I reply and connected the call to car and start the car.

" where are you,can you pick me up from Spencer penthouse" He said and I immediately press the break.

"Why " I asked him.

" I came yesterday with you so I don't have my car with me and if I wait for my driver then I will gonna be late" he said and I can hear different sounds coming from his side.

" umm....you can come with Spencer " I reply but I really want to know where is Spencer penthouse. But I don't want anyone to know that I am taking interest in his life. So I have to play very well that no one noticed. Especially Yash.

" he's also going to be late that's why I asked you ...just come to building P, I will be waiting their in the entrance ok" he said and without waiting for my reply he cut the call.

I sigh and take a turn to go to the building that he asked me to. I reached their in two minutes it's just next to my building. I park the car and sat their to wait for him.

After two minutes I see him coming from the entrance and behind him Spencer. I look at him he wear a grey ash three piece suit that hugged him very well. His biceps perfectly wrap in his suit jacket. He looks sexy. Edible. I licked my lips.

I got out from the car then they both see me.

Yash came near me and hugged Me then kiss me on my cheek.

"Good morning " he say.

"Good morning " I reply then I looked at Spencer. I see that he looked at Yash with something different in his eyes. Then he feels my eyes on him then he looked at me.

"Good morning shell" he say. I am about to reply him but yash put his hand on my shoulder and glared at Spencer.

"Hey only I can call her shell ,for you it's Shelly ok" he said to him. I looked at him in disbelief.

I removed his hand on my shoulder and shook my hand. Spencer about to say something to him but I cut him off.

"Good morning Spencer and you can call me anything you want,don't pay him any attention, I think he get up from the wrong side of the bed" I say to him with a smile on my face. It's became tense atmosphere here.

What then I remember what I said 'call me anything you want 'oh God seriously I will definitely make a fool of me. I winced internally.

A big smile formed on Spencer face and he looked at me something in his eyes. Adoration.

"Let's go we will be going to late"yash said that break our eye contact to each other.

He held my hand and without saying goodbye to Spencer ,he pull me towards the car.

I sat in the car and start the engine. Spencer's stand their on the side of the parking area. I stop my car to his side and open my window.

"Bye...see you later" I tell him.

"Yeah bye"he said and lean to the window and kissed me on my cheek.

A blushed formed on my cheeks and neck. He looked at me then smiled at me. Then he go to his car.

Then I remembered Yash's sat beside me in the passenger seat. I looked at him and see him looking at Spencer with anger in his face and his hands are fisted.

"It's just a peck on the cheek ,don't worked up" I muttered to him then his eyes snapped to me. But he doesn't say anything and looked out the window.

After what happened with me in my last relationship he's become so protective to me.

I start the car and we drove in silence. We reached the company in ten minutes.

Yash and I reached at the same time and we go together to the office. In the lift some employees greet him but he didn't reply to them. I ignore him then I go to my office and he go to his.

I arrange today schedule . Then I go to make him coffee. I go to his office and knocked. I hear a faint comein and opened the door.

Entering in the office I see him working on his laptop. I placed his coffee and tell him his schedule. BUT he looked distance from his usual self. I didn't ask him about it.

I come back and start to work on my office ,I have to reply some emails and schedule his meeting with other partners.

Spencer POV:

I woke up and looked at the clock. I always woke up early. Then I go to washroom and then go to gym. I have my personal gym in my penthouse. When I go their ,I see that Yash is already their.

"Good morning bro" he said to me start to do weight lifting.

I also greet him back and start to do my regular work out. Then after one hour I go back to my room and take shower. Then I got ready for office. When I came out from my room I see that Yash is talking to someone, but when he see me he cut the call.

I go to the dining area and see the breakfast is served. I hire a maid that came early in the morning to do all the cleaning and cooking. She left in the evening after doing her work. I like that way to no one disturb me.

I finished my breakfast and got up from there.Yash also came and hurredily take a toast and start to walk towards the lift.

"I will drop you off in your office" I offer him when we both are in the lift. He chewed his toast and replied me.

"Thanks but No...shell is here she will take me to the office.." he reply to me.

I feel happy internally that I will see her on the start of my day. I want to ask him more but then the lift open and he get out. I also goes behind him.

But seeing his behavior I feel confused why he talk like that. He's best friends of me. But seeing his behavior when I talk to Shelly confused me. I decide to talk to him later about this.

Saying bye to her and steal a kiss from her make my day even better. I smiled all the way to the office. I go to my office and my secretary came with the coffee then she tell me my schedule.

Then I remember to call yash. I call him and he received the call.

"Hey what are doing" I asked him.

"Work..." he said in bored tone.

"OK can we meet I have something to ask you" I said to him. I also don't want to waste time but I want to know about his behavior earlier.

" can't...you can ask me now" he said.

"OK...do you have any problem with me" I asked him and wait for his reply. He kept quite for some time then I heard a sighed from his side.

" look bro I don't have any problem with you but stop flirting with my cousin, she's like a sister to me and I don't want her to get hurt so stop giving her attention " he said.

I listen to him and closed my eyes when my anger start to build how dare he say that I will hurt her.

"I will never hurt her ok" I said that and cut the call without waiting for his reply.

I like her and I will never hurt her. I will prove to him that I am good for her rather he like it or not. I know that he care for her like his own sister.

I take a deep breath and try to control myself to go to his office and clear his mind that I will ever hurt her.

First I have to make a good impression to Shelly and make her trust in me. I hope she like me back. I will definitely make her mine. I just have to stick to the plan.

I finished my work and meetings that are held today. I was in the meeting but my mind are occupied the kiss that I steal from her in the morning. I decided to message her.

" What are you doing" I write and send her. Then I start to wait for her reply. Meeting is going on but my mind set on my phone. Why she doesn't reply to me. Did Yash told her not to talk to me. Did she refuse to be my girlfriend.

Fake girlfriend. My mind remind me.

I groaned loudly and all the members of meeting looked at me. I ignored them and told them to continue.

Meeting finished after sometime but I didn't get any reply from her. Everyone left from the meeting room but I sat their in my seat and looked at the send message. I feel sad about it. Maybe she's busy also in a meeting.

Then I get up and go to my office. I sat on my chair and closed my eyes then my phone vibrate in my hand. My eyes shot open and a smile broke on my face when I see the name that flashed on my phone screen.

"Nothing....I just came from a meeting" she reply to my message.

" can I take you to lunch" I reply to her message and shut my eyes.

Then my phone vibrate again and i held my breath. Why am so afraid of her.

"Oh I can't I have work to do" the message she reply and my mood again dropped.

I think of something to came up with.

"Please I have something to talk about our arrangement " I again message her.

"Really you can tell me now" she replied.

"I can't tell that in messages can be meet on lunch or coffee anything " I asked again. I know I sound desperate but when it comes to her I will do anything.

"Ohk..then ok meet up".

"Yeah I will pick you pick about in an hour" I asked her in message.

"Sure ...have to go bye"she reply.

I stared at my phone with a smile on my face.

Then a knock came and my secretary came with wearing her skimpy dress and told that my next appointment is here. I tell her to get them here.

I finished my meeting in half hour. Then I do other paper work that are need to done,I try to finished my work as much as I can. After twenty minutes it's almost done, I decided to complete it when I came back from the our lunch date. Well it's a a date for me.Then I take my car keys and go to the basement. I take my car to the Roy's industries and parked outside. Then I call her.

Ring

It's rang but she didn't answer it. I thought that she stood me up. I glanced at my phone with anger and start to dial again but it start to ring. Her name flashed and I answered it right away.

"Hey sorry I didn't answer your call I was in the meeting where are you" she asked me.

"I'm outside at your workplace will you come down" I asked her.

"Yeah just five minutes " She reply and cut the call ,I want to tell her that she can come patiently not to hurry.

I cut the call and put my phone on my suit jacket and wait for her.

After two minutes she came running to car. I got out the car and open the passenger door to her. She sat down and replied a thank you quietly.

I got to my side and start the engine.

"I'm sorry to make you wait here "she said.

"No its okay I ready to wait for you anytime " I reply to her. Hearing me reply her cheeks start to blush. f**k. I cursed under my breath she's so cute.

We go to the Italian restaurant. A waitress came and assigned us to our table. I pull a chair for her and she sat with a smile and thank me. I also settled to my chair. We order our meal and drinks.

" so what are you gonna talk about" she asked me while drinking her lemonade.

" Oh about that I and my friends are going to club tonight and I want you to come with me as my girlfriend "I said to her in calm voice.

" why I have to go with you" she asked.

" Well all my friends will be there and I want to tell all of them I have a girlfriend,so they will transfer the news to Sarah because their will be friends that are also friends with her,I want to make sure of everything that it looks real" I reply to her and waited for her response. I know I sounded dumb but what excuses I have to take her to lunch and to club.

"Oh really ok" she said with a smile.

I smile back to her. Then our order are came and we start to eat. We talk about some more about my college. I don't ask her about her ex husband I don't want to spoiled her mood.

I will ask her about him another time and when she will trust me fully and tell me by herself.

Then I drop her again to her work place and told her that I will pick her up seven in the evening. She said okay and go to her work. I also came to my office and start to work. I have so much work to do. I get off the work at five thirty in the evening. I go to my penthouse and then take a shower and wear casual clothes.

I wear a white v neck t shirt and black wash out jeans and paired them with white sneakers. It's six thirty in the evening then I call Shelly but somebody else answer the phone.

"Hello who are you" I asked the lady that answer the call.

"I'm Shaina nanny Brenda, Shelly will be ready in ten minutes " She tell me.

Then I asked her about the apartment number. She tell me and left my penthouse and go to next building. I knocked on her apartment and women open the door.

"Hello I came here to pick shelly " I tell her.

She smiled and tell me that she's the one that talk to me on the phone. She invited me in. I sat on the couch. Their Shaina is playing with her toys. I smiled at her. She looked at me and came to me.

She sat beside me.i gave her chocolate that I have to gave to her. She take them and kissed me on my cheek. She's so cute just like her mommy.

"Hey princess what are you doing" I asked her.

"It's tea party time come uncle Spencer sit here I will give you tea" she said in her cute child like voice.

I sat beside her on the carpet. She sat her toy cup tea pots and start to serve tea. I smiled at her and start to drink the tea that she serve me. Playing for some time Shelly came inside of her room. I looked at her and guys she looked gorgeous. No.i mean sexy. No.i mean hot. You guys know what I am trying to say.

She wear a black dress that reached at her mid thigh and curve her body in all the perfect places. Her hair are open that reached below her waist in curls. She wears three inch heals.

She looked at me and smiled. I smiled back at her.

"Spencer you don't have to play with her,Brenda will play with her" she said to me and held Shaina in her hand.

"No its okay I like playing with her" I reply.

She nodded her head and told Shaina to behave and she will be come in short time. Then she tell me let's go. We go to my car and I start the car to go to the club Morte.
