How it all started

Start to my day (7 am)

"Alexus Valentina Botello your going to be late for training!" and yes I used your legal name said my beta Alex.

"I'm coming, I'm coming. I couldn't find my other gym shoe!" I replied while running down the stairs of the pack house. After trying to catch my breath I say" f**k I forgot my hair tie, do you have one by any chance? I asked Alex". Alex replies with a "here I'm one step a head of you. What would you do with out me?" Alex says smiling, laughing and handing me the hair tie. I give Alex a grin: " I don't know maybe in ditch in the middle of no where. Or I could be shopping. I mean who doesn't need a whole new wardrobe." We both laugh.

When we get to the training grounds outside the back of the wolf pack house I look around but don't see my younger brother Max but I do see my other younger brother Samuel. Sam is 5'8 with black straight hair, grey eyes, and caramel skin tone. We walk over to Sam and he gives me a grin and says " What happened sis you never run late. Did you lose a shoe again?" I look at him with a sarcastic look and give him a forced hahaha. I look over to Alex and Sam, asking them if they have seen Max. Alex and Sam look over to me and nodding their heads no. They then go to say: "We haven't heard from him all morning".

I mentally say "s**t this f*****g kid is going to be late for training. I'm going to beat his ass if he don't hurry up" while rubbing my temples. I mind link: Max "hey where are you?!?. Your going to be late for training!!". Max responds " I'm already here sis turn around!" I turn around to see my little brother panting and giving me a grin. I give him the biggest eye roll in the world. Max who at only six-teen years old is already over 6 feet tall. He has my mom's curly brown hair with some red tones in it as well, with my fathers dark brown eyes that can turn a light brown color depending on the sun, he also has a nice caramel skin tone like Sam. To all the ladies my little brothers are eye candies that they can't get enough of them. Me on the other hand, I am a mother, father, sister and brother all in one for my brothers. The pack loves me but fears me at the same time. I am the strongest warrior in the pack at only 5'2 and 145 pounds. My pack is my family and I defend them with my life no matter the cost. But if I am double crossed I will rip your head off with no questions asked.

I'm so sorry for being rude I never introduced my self. My name is Alexus Valentina Botello but everyone calls me Lex. I am next in line to be Alpha for the Midnight Moon Wolf pack but I am handing over the title to my little brother Max as soon as he turns eighteen. I am seventeen years old almost eighteen. That person there with blue eyes, straight brown hair, muscular body and is 6'6; his name is Alex he was my older brothers best friend and future beta but changed after his passing so now he's my beta and best friend. Man he reminds me so much of my older brother, we might not be siblings biologically but we are honorary siblings. And the little s**t head over there with the black straight hair, hazle eyes and muscular toned body is my little sixteen year old brother Max. He is the soon to be Alpha of the wolf pack. He's almost seventeen; we're a year apart. And I must say he has came a long way since our brother's passing. And that other little s**t head is Sam. Hes the one with the brown curly hair and dark green eyes. Hes the youngest out of us four siblings. He's only fourteen but hes training with us older ones since he is going to Max's beta with Alex when Max takes over as Alpha. Our family migrated from Mexico to the U.S. in the early 1900's I think. I forget when exactly my ancestors came to america. Not everyone in our family is a wolf there are regular humans too. We don't know exactly how the wolf gene works but it skipped some family members. All the she wolves see my three boys as a snack. They go with me almost everywhere. We are all attached to the hip. So the she wolves don't like me very much; they think i c**k block them but in all reality my brothers know they are hoes so they are each waiting for their mate to make sure they get a good girl who can impress me.

***During Training

As being one of the strongest warriors in the pack I can lead wolf training when ever I want. When I finally see all my fellow wolves on the training grounds. I wait about ten minutes to see how many of them are excited that training might be canceled since it always starts on time.

About a quarter of the wolves get excited and that's when I say in my alpha voice " Why are you guys so excited did you think training was canceled" while grinning. Everyone goes silent and just looks as me as if I had a terrifying face on.

I continue to say "alright since some of you were so excited and thought training was canceled lets start the day off with 100 sit ups, 100 push ups, 20 minute planks, and finish out warm up with a seven mile run around the whole forest. After that we will spar for an hour" That's when I hear everyone in unison say "yes Lex" unhappily. They might be unhappy now but I know at the end it is worth it.

After our nice long warm up we start sparring and I pair everyone up with each other Alex goes with Sam, I spar with Max and so on and so forth. I had just flipped over Max and had him in a arm bar when Alex's dad comes to find me. Beta Liam is my father's beta and long time friend of the family. He walk up to us and says "Hey Lex your dad wants to see you". I look over at him and reply "Ok let him know I'll go after I beat Max." Liam nods his head and says " no he needs you now!" I look up at him all confused. Then I look down and tell Max "Your lucky dad needs me. Work on your defense. I was able to flip you to easily."

Then I look over at Alex " ALEX! I need you to pair Sam and Max together. Watch Max, his defense skills need work. Let Sam give him everything he has. Just make sure they don't brake to many bones. Ok" Alex looks at me and nods his head agreeing. I get up from the floor walk into the pack house and up to my fathers office. I see the door open so I just walk in.

***Alexus POV

When Beta Liam said my father need to see me asap my brain started turning and my wolf Selene asks me in a confused manner "what do you think he wants. He never really speaks to us unless we did something wrong, the boys f****d up in some way, or there's something going on with the pack and I have to deal with it".

I get to my father office to see his door wide open so I casually walk in saying " hey dad you wanted to see me". I see my father standing by the window in his office with a cup of whiskey in his hand. Just from seeing that I knew something was up and it wasn't a good thing. My father name is Ricardo and he is the Alpha of the pack. He is 6'8 with black straight hair, dark brown eyes that at the moment look like a soft brown. He turns around looking at me and says "were you training with your brothers and Alex again", I nod my head saying yea.

He continues to say mija (daughter) sit down. I sit down in a leather brown chair in front of his desk and he sits behind his desk. He then looks up at me and starts talking to me about one our alliance packs named the Night Shadow Wolf Pack. I nod my head letting him know I follow what he is saying. Then he goes on to say well mija (daughter) your eight-teen birthday is next month and its time for you to move in with the Night Shadow Wolf pack. I look at my father with a confused face (I gave him my what the f**k you mean face). He continues to say before you were born the Rogues were at their worst and both our packs were under attack so in order to create an alliance we agreed that in order for it to stand our kids would need to get married. It didn't matter if it was you who had to get married or your brother David (my older brother). As I am trying to comprehend what he is saying my father looks at me and says "mija (daughter) you ok. Did you hear anything I just said?"

I look at him and blurt out "what the hell do you mean I'm getting married? So was I your plan B since David isn't here. Did David know about this? Did mom know about this? How did you just tell me about this now?!? I don't know what you were on when you made this agreement but I'm not doing it and neither are the boys. I'm not doing it and I don't care what you say. Its a no dad."

My father looks at me and says in his alpha Alesandro voice calmly but sternly "You will do as I say. This agreement was done before any of you kids. This was done to make sure both packs are safe and protected. The Rogues might not be as bad as they use to be but they are still out there and their numbers are doubling fast."

I look at him: "We already have an alliance with them for over six-teen years why do we have to get married now. We have proven our loyalty. If they don't trust then that's on them. We did our part we help them protect their own just like they help us. I don't get it. It makes no sense."

My father continues: "the Night Shadow wolf pack is welcoming you with open arms and you will be their Luna. You don't have to like it the decision but you will respects it. Don't worry mija (daughter) Alpha Alec's son just turned eighteen last month so you guys are around the same age. His sons name is Elijah. You will show them respect. We have dinner with them tonight at 7 so make sure your ready and so are your brothers. Ill let the beta family know after training is done. They will also be joining us during dinner." I then tell my father "what he turned eighteen. Dad he needs to find his mate. What if he finds his mate while we are together do we stay together? What if he doesn't like me? Ugh do I have to meet them. You sound like you have everything under control so why do I have to be there? The boys are not going to be happy about this and you know that. But fine I'll make sure we are all ready for our guests of honor. I'm assuming they will be having dinner here?!?." My father then reply's "si mija (yes daughter) they will be having dinner here at the house." With that said I get up from my seat and say " ok dad I got it. Anything else or can I leave now?" He then says "no that's it you can leave and make sure you close the door behind you. I nod my head in acknowledgement.

***Elijah's POV

"Say it say it Felix. You know you can't win." I say while putting my beta in a head lock. "Hell no I won't say it. I can get out of this. I know I can." Felix reply's. I can feel Felix slipping a little when my father mind links me and says to meet him in his office asap. I let Felix know my dad needs me to meet with him and let my grip go. I hear a big inhale and a cough. I see Felix gasping for air.

I start laugh: "I thought you said you could get out of it". Felix flips me off as I start walking away. I make my way to my dad's office. The door is fully closed so I knock on the door.

*KNOCK

I then hear a come in. I look over and see my father and he is sitting at his desk looking at his computer. I sit down in the chair in front of him and say " what's up dad you wanted to see me." He looks away from the computer and looks me in my eyes and starts to tell me about a wolf pack who are part of our alliance against the Rogues and how they have been our alliance for years now.

I'm all confused as I sit with my father: "dad I'm confused. Why am I here? Are they no longer part of our alliance? Are we enemies now? Do we have to go kill someone?" My father looks really serious and says "son we are not enemies. On the contrary we are going to become family. The Midnight Moon pack is going to give you a Luna. I know you just turned eighteen and are in search for your mate but this is for the pack. This will make sure no matter what happens our pack is safe. We have dinner with them at their pack house at 7 today. Your luna name is Alexus Valentina Botello. She is just a couple of months younger than you. Make sure your on your best behavior. Let your beta know he will be tagging along to the dinner with his father."

I look at my dad angry: "What do you mean they are giving me a luna? I didn't ask for one. My mate will be the packs luna not her. I know nothing about her. How am I suppose to trust her to lead the pack as a luna if I only know her name?"

"Son this agreement was done before your were born. The Rogues were so much worse back then so we need to unite together to make sure our packs were safe and since we did not know anything about each other we made an agreement a contract that our oldest children would get married. You will go to the dinner and your going to get to know her and you going to be nice to her. Understood!!"

I let out a big "UGGGHHHHHH FINE. "is that it?" My father looks at me as says yes "that's it. Make sure your ready by five. Its an hour drive and I don't want to be there late". I nod my head and walk out the room.

I link in my beta and tell him to meet me in the gym, I have too much anger in me that I need to release. My beta Felix says "you got it man be there in 2." We get to the gym at the same time and he is able to tell there's something wrong. So as my friend he asks me "Hey Elijah everything ok" I look at him and start hitting a punching bag. With every hit I say one word.

Felix looks at me confused and grabs the punching bag and tells me to explain what is going on so I do. I tell him how my father arranged me to get married to a girl from the Midnight Moon pack and we have to have dinner with them at 7 and that he is invited with his father.

Felix's eyes widen as he lets out a "DANG BRO THAT'S ALL SORTS OF f****d UP!" I look at him and nod my head. He then says "well I think we should start getting ready is already 3:30 and knowing your father he will want to be there early rather than late".

I tell Felix "Yea we will go in 5 minutes, let me get a couple of more jabs in". After a couple of jabs in we head upstairs to our rooms and help each other pick our outfits to make sure we don't match.

***ALEXUS POV

"f**k HOW WILL I TELL THE BOYS!!!!!" .

I mind link Max, Alex, and Sam. "Hey guys meet me in the kitchen in 10." They start saying one by one "sure sis be there in 5, I'm hungry. Ok sis be right there. Ok Lex meet you guys there".

As I walk in to the kitchen I serve my self a big cup of cold water and hear the boys foot steps walking in to the kitchen. Max goes directly to get some food from the fridge and Sam sits on the kitchen counter with me. Alex walks over and leans next to the fridge. All three of my boys look at me and they can tell I'm mentally panicking.

Alex looks me in my eyes: "hey whats wrong. Split it. What happened in the meeting with your dad?"

I look at all three of them and start off by saying " we have important guests coming for dinner today. Dinner will be at 7 so make sure you all look presentable. And um-mm!!!" I start to sweat and stutter "I-I-I'm getting married. Dad arranged it before any of us were born. It was suppose to be David getting married but since hes not here it's me. So make sure your nice. Don't rip the soon to be alpha of the Night Shadow wolf pack a new ass hole. He's eighteen already. Make sure you guys are on your best behavior please!"

I hear a big thunk on the counter, fridge and floor. I hear Max angrily speak: "What the hell do you mean your getting married?!?!?!? Is dad out of his f*****g mind?!?!!

Alex chimes in "What the f**k. Tell me you joking. You can't be serious. Why?!?!? Your brother was my best friend since we were in diapers and I know for a fact he would not let you go through with this!!!"

Sam chimes in "Are you ok sis?!?!? I know you let dad have it. You ok? Hes stupid he has no right to force you into anything!?!?

I look at all three and say "No its not a joke. Alpha Alec and his son soon to be Alpha Elijah will be coming over for dinner with their betas. I'm already stressing as it is so don't add more to it. Its already 5 I need to start getting ready before I change my mind and disappear for the rest of the night."

Alex, Sam, and Max have their angry faces on. Max: " Well if they say something stupid to you, we throwing some hands and knocking some fuckers out. I don't care if they are part of the alliance or not. Dad can suck it."

I laugh at his response and say "ok Max its a deal".

They all give me a hug and take me to my room. As I walk into my room I yell out "I'M CHECKING YOUR OUTFITS BEFORE OUR GUESTS GET HERE!!!"

I can hear Max say "Fine, but I aint looking all sexy for my future brother in-law just saying. He's on my s**t list right now!" Sam screams "I TOTALLY AGREE BRO"

Alex says "You aint checking my outfit I can dress my self. You worry about looking good for your Alpha"

Max and Sam scream in unison at Alex "Shut the f**k Alex. Your not helping"

I laugh as I'm closing my door.

I walk over to my closet and start looking for a nice dress with shoes. Then I have a aha moment. I pull out a flowy navy blue dress that is a little over my knees. It had pink, red and yellow flowers on it with spaghetti straps. I pick out a pair of black suede heals to match. I walk over to my bed and place my dress on the bed I sit next to it and start crying as I pat my dress. I talk to my dress as if it was my brother.

"I wish you were here David. I know dad wouldn't have me go through with this if you were here. I miss you so so much. I'm trying my best with the boy but I know they miss you just as much as I do. I see you in them everyday. Thank you for watching over us. I love you now and forever. Say hi to mom for me and giver her a big kiss for all of us."

I get up at wipe my tears from my face and walk into the bathroom. I take a quick shower and walk over to my desk in my robe. I put on my favorite lotion; it smells like apples, mangos, peaches, and strawberries. Then I pull out some hair protector products since I have to blow dry my hair. I start blow drying my hair and it start to dry up pretty fast. After its completely dry I brush it out and it goes it its natural length and natural way of being. After my hair is done I continue to put on my make up. I put some light brown/gold eye shadow to make the color of my light brown eyes pop a little. I put on some eye liner on. I go with a natural look since I never really learned how to put any make up on except the basic and I was not going to start experimenting now. The I finally start to put on my underwear, and put some stickies for my n*****s so nobody can tell that I don't have a bra on. I put my dress on and zip it on. I put on some 4 inch black suede heals on. I'm so focused on getting my self ready that I lose track of the time. Next thing I hear a knock on my door

*KNOCK KNOCK

Come In

Its Alex with a big smile on his face: "Hey there foxy how you doin?!?! You look really really good. Just came by to let you know its 6 o'clock and the guest are just pulled up in the drive way."

I respond: " Oh s**t really! f**k!!! I'm starting to sweat!!! They are an hour early. Ugh noooo I can't start sweating. OMG ALEX. Toss me my deodorant it next to me lotion on my desk. Hurry!!"

Alex walks over to the desk and tosses me my dove cucumber deodorant while laughing at me. I look at him with a sigh of relief and say: " thank you and stop laughing at me. This is not funny. You know how I get when I'm nervous. Do I look ok?!?! Is it too much?!?!?!?What if he doesn't like me?!?!? Ugh why me."

Alex walks over to me puts his pointer finger under my chin to lift me face up too meet his and looks into my eyes and says " You look amazing. Your brother would be so proud of you. Your holding up really good, for someone who was just told hours ago that they are meeting their fiance today. Take a deep breath. You look beautiful. If he doesn't like you then f**k him. He will have to deal with me and your brothers. We got your back sis."

With this said he brings me in with a hug and kisses my forehead and continues to whisper " don't worry your beautiful inside and out. He will be lucky to have you as a luna for his pack. Plus you smell really good. Is that mangos, apples and umm strawberries??? Do you not have a bra on?!?!?!? Fucker better not come in for a hug. We don't need to fight some fucker because you gave him a boner."

I lay my head on his chest, nod my head yes and laugh at his boner statement. I hear foot steps walking towards my door and I see Sam's face then I see Max's face right next to him. They look so amazed and surprised.

Sam starts talking: "Lex you look amazing. I love the dress. Whats that smell. Its like fruit. Its making me hungry."

I smile at my little brother and tell him David bought me the dress before he died. And the smell is my lotion and asked him if he liked it.

He nods his head saying yes. Then Max goes a head and says: "Man you look great. You clean up very good, You wouldn't be able to tell you can beat some serious ass. " while smiling.

My brothers come into my room and see the look of fear in my eyes. They lean in and give me a hug and say " if he don't like you then f**k him. He will lucky to find anybody like you. Your special and don't forget that." I give my little brothers a big hug.

Alex chimes in and says "that's what I told her. Can I get in on that hug too?" We make a little opening for him. Then we hear the door bell. I look up at the boys and say "f**k MY LIFE!!!" with my eyes wide open. They smile and say come down last. We want to introduce ourselves first to see how reacts to us and then to you as you walk down the stairs. I nod my head agreeing.
