Chapter 10 On the day he was supposed to set out on his seeking journey, Gavi was still working in the garden, bent over his garden bed. He had packed weeks ago, long before his mother reminded him he needed to, long before the servants thought to pull out his travel pack. He had packed without trouble or drama, and that was how he wanted to keep the journey. He was ready. He straightened, arms crossed in front of him, and looked at his work.
