The next morning, Camilla listened to the televised news of the bombing at the burger place she’d visited the day before. “Serves them right,” she muttered. “I guess they treated somebody else badly, too.” Yet, when they announced the injuries of one worker and three customers, who were sitting near the restroom, she felt guilty for her thoughts. It was wicked to rejoice when someone was injured, especially if it wasn’t the person who’d done you wrong. Still, she supposed she could be glad for the destruction of the property. Maybe the manager would think twice before letting his counter help be so mean. Unfortunately, when she got to work, Camilla realized she was destined for a bad day.
