Chapter Eight Marie went back to the office to talk to forensics. Expert opinion set the time of death somewhere within the last week. This fell within the time Martin had first been reported missing. The team also told her they were working on a positive identification and would have it soon. In the meantime, Marie looked up taxi cab companies. Unless he’d taken the trouble to clean up, the killer would have been covered with muck from the swamp, shoes, pant legs, etc. Maybe one of the drivers remembered taking such a customer and could give a description.
