Camilla had never been more excited because she’d never been on a date. She knew Ronny wasn’t the most handsome guy in the world. He had acne scars and crooked teeth. But what should she expect? She was no beauty queen. She could overlook his faults if he overlooked hers. She spent a while in the bathroom when it was almost closing time brushing her hair and putting on lipstick. She didn’t try eye makeup for fear of looking like a clown. She wished Tamara was here to help her. Then she remembered Tamara didn’t think the date had been a good idea. She would show both of them it was an excellent idea. She would have a good time and nothing would go wrong.
