"Have you sent the notice?" I asked Jake.
"Yes, sir."
"Did she already read it?"
"I'm sure she does. She was there when I asked the mailer to send it directly to their house."
"Good. You may go."
Contented on what I heard and did, I leaned my back to my swivel chair and slightly moved it sideways. I sent a letter of notice to her today. I am perfectly aware of what happened to her mom. I couldn't bravely face her to offer my comfort, not when the case of her father is still in process. To help her, the least thing I can do is to keep her close to me.
I emphasized in the letter that if she will agree to work in the company, it will help her decrease her father's debts. Of course, I wrote it
