Chapter 8They did not cut their shopping trip short, but Daniel desperately wanted to suggest it. Though his erection eventually softened, his blood was still running hot in his veins, and he couldn’t stop thinking about Charles pressed against him, how warm he was, how good he felt. He distracted himself from Charles by focusing on Lucy, which wasn’t any real solution at all. He held his breath as the day ran down, hoping Charles wouldn’t suggest they go out to eat dinner.
