Gambling is Life

During lunch time, I went to the underground Casino on my own. I don’t have plans on returning to school. After all, at the Cryptoworld, studying is only required for some work. At first my dad had a puzzled look, but maybe he felt that I was just kidding, so he laughed. “If you came from the future, then who would win the NBA tonight, he asked “It would be the Bucks”. I replied, “Are you serious? He said I showed him my ticket at the Casino and told him “if you don’t believed me let us wait for the result this evening after that I will explain you everything and hope you will listen to me”. then I went to my room and continued planning.

A loud sound of laughter woke me up. I felt asleep while planning for my future moves and didn’t realize what time it was, but because of that laughter, I got back to my senses. I went to see my father. “I was about to scold you but luckily Bucks won, so I will forgive you for skipping classes tomorrow. You should go to school”. Said Dad.

My Dad was so happy because he also bet Twenty Thousand on Bucks with our neighbor. “Wait dad, did we agree that I will tell you everything about the future after the game”. I seriously said and added “This concerns families future”. So he also got serious and replied “Okay begin”. So I began my story with, “Both you and Mom will Die next year”.

I can see the shock on his face, but he knows I won’t joke about their death. Still, he kept his calm as he asked me “What happened to you”. With a hoarse voice, I felt like crying. He knew that he was going to die, but he still thought of me. So I cut his words as I continued speaking, “It doesn’t matter, all that matters is, we can change our destiny. The important part is that I know the major events that will happen and we could prevent disasters for our family.

I started explaining every detail and, though in some parts he couldn’t believe it, he still trusted me and asked me what my plans were. I just told him “Gambling is life”., so he started laughing again and told me “Okay Dear Son, you take the lead”.

My father and I agreed that we would keep everything secret and we would not tell anyone, including my mom. We don’t want to worry her, and even if she knew it, she wouldn’t help that much. As I told my Dad that the first introduction of the Worldcoin would be three days from today, he suggested that we could sell our house and lot as soon as possible.

My Dad is a wise man and also a risk taker. I think I got my talent from him sadly in my past life. My talent did not help me a lot, luckily. My traitor friends agreed as they went their way to find more bets. After my class ended, I went to our rich neighbor and offered him our house. We agreed that he would pay us Six Hundred Thousand tomorrow in the morning and we would move the next day after tomorrow.

I didn’t feel petty to him. I know that he always wanted to take advantage of people.
