“Second Life” ( Journey to the Crypto World )

Our New Home

Time flies so fast and another five months passed. An event happened in the Cryptoworld called “Real Life Transfer”. Today, every human already has a Casket, On Cryptoworld, children fourteen years old below appear next to their parents, and fifteen years old above are given a chance to choose a location where they should be summoned.

In real life, the Casket flew and enters a huge kind of airships, then the huge Airships fall from the sky and landed destroying every house and building, but before that happened a clearing operation is done by the government, while Casket flew to the sky, government collect every machines, gadget, food, livestock and every thing that could be used. When all is done collecting, that is the time huge airships fall from the sky.

At CrpytoWorld, each person is given a number and if the number is announced, they will have a chance to choose a building, floor and room. Me and my parents are one of the priorities, so I choose a building at the center of our district and pick the highest floor.

In reality, each airship is composed of One Hundred buildings. If we look at the airship from above, each airship looks like the sun on the Philippine flag, it is circular and has eight lines that are connected to the other ships.

The center area would be the main district. It is where all kinds of main products of every airship are created, and near those lines that connect to other airships is where the exchange of products, so the best part of the airship is at the center, it is where the exported goods are created and all imports go, but it only benefits those who has a lot of worldcoins.

Each time a person chooses a location on the Cryptoworld, his or her Casket will fly to the chosen location, building, floor and lastly, room. When they woke up in the morning, they would have their new home. I have already told this to my parents, so we have chosen a room that is near to each other. And why have I chosen the last floor, because of the extra lot and that would be the roof top.

All buildings have two hundred floors and, in the first few years, everyone is busy with the adjustment that they are experiencing and they haven’t noticed the benefits of the rooftops, but the rooftop is so wider that a football field, meaning a person can jag or do a lot of physical exercise on it, which is needed for every human specially when a person stayed in the Casket sixteen hours a day.

All stocked foods, gadgets or any machines with value will be delivered by a Robot after Casket has been transferred to its chosen home. The robots are human-controlled beings and the controller is on the Cryptoworld itself doing work time.

In the real world, we all have a different time frame, same as the Cryptoworld, so in events, while some are choosing their home, others are working to transfer their items. Everything was prepared by the World Government a long time ago so everything was done smoothly.

Each room has a door to the other side in order for the families to connect. Especially for children. A person could always sell his room to others, like me in the past. I sold my room and live anywhere, most often at the roof top of a building where, I leave my Casket after all it is water proof, and no one would bother to sell it after all, all humans has it’s own casket already and if it’s lost or damage we just need to report it to the world government then after a few hour the owner would have his or her casket.

People could also transfer rooms. They just have to talk to the room owner, make an agreement, pay for the transfer fee and boom! you’ll have your preferred room, next to your loved ones. In the morning when we wake up, me and my Dad arrange our things while mom cooks our meal. What a wonderful family. This is all I ever wanted.

After all the preparations and eating, I went outside the building. So much has changed, yet this place is the place I am already familiar with. Peaceful, only few people roam the area to buy foods from a machine or a robot and just by raising right arm, the robot or a machine will scan the chip and after a few minutes the transaction will be over the payment will automatically transferred.

At first glance, the world is peaceful, yeah.. it is truly peaceful because. The world government is too damn busy making preparations for war with other planets, but the hell I care, all I know is that I have established a better life for my family and that’s all that matters to me.

This is only the beginning. I still have a lot of plans for the future. My next target is to bring my family to the first world that our government acquired. The first planet conquered by our world government based on the news has a size three times larger than planet earth. The environment is also good, not as polluted as the earth, so it makes the lifespan of a human increase.

The dominant natives of that planet are called “ Lionoids”.They have a face like a lion but a human-like body. Their civilization is like our civilization during the stone age. Their only advantage compared to our civilization at that time is that they have a mineral which looks like a blue diamond, which our scientists call the “Blue Crystal”. It has some kind of power which an individual can absolve, including us humans.

The Blue Crystal has a different effect depending on the user. If it is used by a Lionoid, it increases it’s physical strength, while if it is used by us humans, it depends on our affinity with it. In experiments, some humans gained strength, some increased their intelligence and some gained different types of power.The Blue Crystal was also used as a power source.

For a human to be qualified to live on that planet, which is called “Panthera”. First is to be rich. Second, they must have a connection to the World Government, or must be part of the old government ,before the world government has been established. Third, we must have an existing top ranking Guild on the Cryptoworld.

The first requirement has already been fulfilled. The only problem is the second and third ones. I already have a plan to fulfill it but I know it would take so much time and time is what I am lacking, so I need to fast track my plans. I need to search my memories from the future to figure out shortcuts.

Building a guild takes so much time and I need to find trusted members. Luckily, I already have a list to recruit. I just need time to plan on how I can convince them to join me. The first on my list are two nerds from my class, Jake and Francis. Based on my memories, Jake is good at car racing, while Francis is good at a shooting game. They just lack good vehicles and weapons, so they didn’t have a chance to win any championships in their fields of expertise.
