Melody didn't look like she enjoyed losing but that was a problem for another day. For now, I had a performance to put on.
I faked some tears and looked into the eyes of the leader of the council.
"I haven't even told my mother about this growth in my womb, it's something so personal. I feel so violated after disclosing such personal information to a group of people I don't even know!"
