SERENA’S POV
“Sienna!”
I woke up with a gasp. My body jerked upright so quickly that something tugged painfully at my arm. I looked around. White walls, a bed, an IV running into my hand. For a few seconds, I couldn't understand where I was.
My breathing was too fast. Sweat covered my forehead and the back of my neck. My heart was pounding so hard that I could hear it.
Then the room came back to me. I was in the hospital. Eldoria. Training. Declan.
I looked toward the other side of the room. Declan was already on his feet. “Serena?” He crossed the room quickly. “What happened?”
