Nuru's POV The morning sun streamed through the windows and outside I could hear servants busy with their tasks. Adrian's side of the bed was neatly made and I felt around it and it was cold. He had been gone for a while. I felt for my phone below my pillow, and I had my answer. I had overslept, a rare occurrence that had me rushing to get dressed. I had not missed breakfast with the rest of the family since we arrived. This was my first time. Why hadn't Adrian woken me up?
