My first instict had been to say no.
Send Regan away and tell him the time they had given me to think over my choice was unnecessary.
I had several reasons to back up my answer.
Nuru and I were done. She was mated. It was wrong for us to do what Adrian was suggesting even if we had his blessing.
But after careful thought, I decided I needed the closure. Since Nuru had not responded to my heartfelt text, I needed her to give me a response face to face.
