Unknown POV
When I stumbled inside a run-down looking pub called Bane's Brew, I had no idea that was where all my answers lay. It was hard asking around about someone without raising eyebrows.
On entry, I scanned the room and spotted one solitary man. I joined him, hoping he wouldn't be offended by my presence.
"You are new here," he said after a few beats.
