Damien's POV Just like before, I was loaded onto a truck and tranquilized out of my mind, but the doctor's words still haunted me. What did he mean by "ready"? I could barely tell how long it took for the journey, but I just woke up in a room, strapped to a bed. The overhead light momentarily blinded me.
