As the days passed, and with Damien's stamp of approval, I decided to reach out to Adrian.
With Damien away, I finally made the decision to call Adrian. I didn't want it to feel like I was rubbing it in his face. Despite our agreement, I still felt the need to have my absolutely loyalty tied to him.
The anticipation of the conversation with Adrian filled me with a mix of nervousness and dread.
