After visiting Damien, I later returned to Veredentia.
As I stepped into our shared home, I couldn't shake the unease that had settled in my heart. Adrian had become a friend and a companion and yet I was harboring secrets that could threaten everything we had built together.
Adrian noticed my troubled expression immediately. His concerned eyes met mine,"Nuru, what's wrong? You look like something's been bothering you."
I sighed deeply, knowing I couldn't keep the truth from him any longer. "Adrian, there are things I need to tell you, and I fear you won't be pleased."
He nodded, his expression a mix of curiosity and concern. "Go on, Nuru. You can always talk to me."
