KELLY Kelly never saw what popped her in the cheek while she ran full stride down the soccer field. Spinning through the air, she didn’t see the ground, either—until she landed face-first. The force slammed her nose into the dirt and knocked the wind out of her. She lay there gasping for air. Whoa, shooting stars! she thought. They were dancing just above the ground in front of her.
