I slammed the door of the SUV as I got out in front of my pack house. That incompetent fool James was going to put everything we've been building at risk. I can't believe that I thought bringing him into this operation was a good idea.
I turned to look at my beta, Devin. "Settle the six girls in the transitional quarters for now. Take Amelia to my office. You and the other ranked can have Claire. Play with her for as long as you want, then pass her on to the warriors." I started up the steps. "Get the next round of slaves ready for shipment. Cull out any of the weaker warriors and add them to the group. We need to stay on schedule."
I left him behind to deal with his orders while I headed up to my suite to change. I needed fresh clothes after being stuck
