The Fall of a Luna

CHAPTER 6

My cell gate slid open, I don't even bother to look up since I know that the person that is allowed to see is the guard that brings me food. I rested my head on my hands that are folded on my knees that are pulled to my chest.

“You are a disgrace to all Luna out there” he spat before shutting the gate. I stayed there for a few minutes before raising my head to look at the food. It can't even be considered food, it looks like someone's vomit. I left it where the guard kept not bothering to even taste it, I looked at the wall that had a small opening. It is morning, I sighed. I took the rock and drew a line against the other three.

I have been locked in here for at least a week and I haven't seen or heard from Aaron. My heart clenched as I saw the look on his face a week ago.

Tears welled up in my eyes as I let them fall, I cried for being a disgrace, a shame and embarrassment.

I look at the small opening to see the sun has already set and the moonlights shone in the room. I hear the dungeon gate open and close, I don't think I have ever heard that door open twice. It is only once when the guards come in to give me food.

“Who could that be?” I thought as I raised my head to look at the person. My heart dropped as the person I saw was not Aaron but Ravenna. She stood there with this annoying smirk on her lips. I took in her clothing, she is clad in a blue skirt that barely covers her ass and a black crop top with a black combat heels.

“How have you been?” She asks as she leans against the bars of my cell.

“You know since you got f****d by three warriors..I always wanted to ask how it felt?” I snarled at her but she only continued. “Was Aaron not good enough? Well for me he is more capable than those warriors” I growled as she smiled. I could beat Ravenna in a fight but with all the wolfsbane that I have taken I am very weak to even fight against an omega.

She straighten as she turned and a few guards opened the cell, I crawled back my heart racing as I thought I will be r***d again. A whimper fell from my lips as one the guards got closer, this made the devil laugh.

“Are you scared Luna?” She spat the last part with so much disgust. I didn't even answer as the guards held up, both of them held each of my hands as they dragged me outside with Ravenna leading.

As soon as those gates pulled open, I never thought I would ever miss the smell of the outside world, I mentally smiled.

They stopped dragging me and when I looked up, shame filled me. Everyone in the pack is present and my eyes travel to see Ravenna make her way to Aaron who is standing at a podium. He snakes his hand around her waist and kisses her, the pack roaring in cheers. I stood there as tears streamed down my eyes.

For a brief moment, our eyes locked but there was no warmth in his.

“People of the silver ridge pack I have called upon you today to strip Cassidy Moon of her Luna title and pass it upon Ravenna Fire” I stood there with shock and disbelief evident on my face. I could feel my world spinning before my eyes as the pack cheered and applauded my dismissal.

Ravenna fake tears as she hugged Aaron and he f*****g smiled. I laughed as few people turned to look at me but I didn't care.

“And as for Cassidy, you are to be banished from the silver ridge pack.. no! Stop!” Ravenna cuts him.

“You can't banish her baby..” ‘baby’ I almost puked.

“It won't be nice and I don't think she can make it alive out there” she said, gesturing at me.

“So what are you suggesting my love” he asks softly. I just watched the love drama in front of me.

“Can I make a decision?”

“You can do anything you want?” He pecks her cheeks, she smiles.

“I hereby make Cassidy Moon to be appointed as a palace maid” I don't even blink.

“She is so considerate”

“I can't believe she let her stay”

“Long live Luna Ravenna”

“She should be down on her knees and thank her” before I could process anything I am pushed down on my knees.

I stared at Ravenna and she was smiling down on me.

“And please take her to the pack doctor to take care of her” she added as if she cares for my well-being.

The two guards bowed as they dragged me away as I stared at her then my eye traveled to his. He stared at me as I just stared back my eyes cold and emotionless, I smirk before disappearing from their line of sight.

FEW MINUTES LATER

I lay on the bed as I wait for the pack doctor to come back and tell me my results. I had asked the pack doctor to check if I had any disease and any sign of pregnancy. I will be damned if I am pregnant with those bastard children.

The door opened, quickly sitting up he walked closer to me.

I have always liked the pack doctor, he is like a father to me. Even now he still treats me like I am the Luna of this pack.

“Luna, I have the results,” I sighed. I have already told him that I am no longer Luna but he said that he could never call that fake Luna.

“And?” I asked

“You do not have any disease and you are not pregnant for them” he said as I sighed in relief but as I took in his face I saw hesitation.

“What else?” He seemed like he didn't want to tell me.

“If I am not pregnant and I have no disease then what are you not telling me?” I pressed

“Yes, you don't have any disease and you are not pregnant for those rapists but..”

“But what?” I don't mean to raise my voice

“I'm sorry.. please just tell me” I plead.

“You are two weeks pregnant with Alpha Aaron's child” I stared at him.

“You are joking” I quickly say

“I'm serious Luna” I think the biggest scream escaped my lips before I crashed down on the fall tears falling from my eyes. It seems like I have been crying a lot lately. I don't care as I pressed my hand on my flat tummy as my lips are in a thin line.

I'm neither happy nor sad. I just stared into space.
