Alex and his teammates headed back to their new safe house, carrying the truckloads of materials with them. In one of the plans that they had stolen from one of Parades Virodh's secret research centers, there were blueprints of an experimental Teleportation Machine.
The machine could only teleport objects and not people, so it was scrapped by the PV's research team since they wanted to build a teleportation device that could transport people.
As the saying goes, another man's trash is another man's treasure. Seth saw the value of the machine, and he tried developing one on his own. He managed to complete the machine and actually make it work thanks to Scourge and Nix's knowledge.
The aliens had something similar, so it wasn't hard for the Zaegnids to help Seth create a machine like that
