The next day soon arrived and Alex hadn’t slept at all. He had stayed up all night long, looking at the stars in the sky until the sun rose over the horizon. The feeling of the morning sun on his skin felt extremely refreshing especially since it felt like forever since he felt its warmth.
He noticed someone had already woken up and it was the girl that had saved him yesterday. He remembered her name being Alice so she approached her to personally say his thanks.
