“A rescue mission?”
Tristan was rather puzzled why this person had come such a long way from wherever she was from just to ask their group to rescue someone or something.
He gave Mindy a strained smile before saying, “I’m not sure if your aware of our group’s notoriety, but I’m sure we were labeled by many havens in the U.S. and even in Canada that we’re a group of extremely dangerous individuals.”
“Yes, I am aware.”
“You’re aware and yet you came to our home by yourself to ask for our help…We aren’t a rescue team or a group of mercenaries,” Tristan said.
“I know, but I have nowhere else to go because I’m in a desperate situation. The Parades Virodh Company had launched a raid on a high-level alien base and it resulted in a failure which left many people stranded in the danger zone.”
