As I hurried out of my house I felt a strong sense of urgency inside me. It was like a wave of energy that I was very familiar with. This call I received was crucial just like many others I had dealt with in the past. It was part of my job part of the life I had decided to lead.
Unfortunately, it often distracted me from the moments that I wanted to enjoy and remember. I picked up my phone and called Hugo who is my reliable assistant. “Please bring the car around right now,” I said to him making sure my voice was steady and focused. I didn’t let my feelings show I was concentrated solely on what needed to be done at that very moment.
