Taniya took a stance in front of Aihi, between her and Kira. Bookshelves and the long table flanked them.
“No matter what we do now, I know you will tell the Headmaster. I can’t let you do that.” Taniya raised her arms, and streaks of turquoise and emerald energy coiled up her arms in patterns Aihi had never seen before. “Besides, our Exalted Princess has no intention of staying in Tsukiko with the likes of us for long.”
The shadows around Kira lashed out. Tendrils curled from beneath the tables and walls, looming in wait. “If you won’t tell them, I have no choice but to stop you.”
