78 Aihi A flash of silver light, and then she was falling. Her descent and screams were short-lived, for she struck the tatami floor of her waiting room a moment later. Above her, another two flashes, and Masanori and Hidekazu appeared on both her sides. She blinked. Masanori and Hidekazu. The White Warlock claimed he could only save one of them, but here they were, sputtering and groaning as if roused from a rather violent nightmare and weren’t quite at the point of relief yet. Aihi wrapped her arms around Masanori and sobbed into his shoulder. “Oh Goddess, you’re alive. I thought... I thought—” He squeezed her. “Yeah... alive...” His voice was monotone, shaky. She embraced Hidekazu. She was more relieved than she could put into words that they had all survived the ordeal. If only
