Hidekazu
As Hidekazu and Barame walked the halls of Tsukiko Academy, their journey stretched on forever with no apparent end. Hallways switched directions and moved or appeared, but Barame carried on as if this was normal.
Meanwhile, Hidekazu stared at every detail of the Academy’s interior with interest befitting one of the Goddess’ sacred shrines. Watercolour sentries lingered on the walls; dragons and yōkai whose eyes followed the pair as they passed.
“Share with me the true motivation behind your studies,” Barame said as they walked.
A memory came to mind, a night where Hidekazu had bathed in the blood and guts of demons. A night where he should have died.
