Alpha Ryan inserted a third finger, stretching her further. Lyka’s face tensed with overwhelming pleasure, her walls clenching tightly around his thick fingers. Her loud, unrestrained moans filled the office as she rode her stepfather’s hand desperately, hips rolling and grinding against him. “f**k—yes, Daddy!” she exclaimed, voice breaking with ecstasy. Her climax hit hard. Her body shuddered violently as she squirted around his fingers, soaking his hand and the edge of the desk. She collapsed forward, leaning heavily against Ryan’s broad chest while panting. Alpha Ryan withdrew his fingers with a slick sound and casually cleaned them with a tissue, his expression smug and satisfied. Bang! The door flew open. Elvis burst in excitedly, waving a paper in his hands. “Dad, look at what I got!” Luna Daria followed closely behind. The moment she stepped inside, her eyes narrowed at the charged atmosphere. Her gaze darted between Lyka’s flushed face, the crumpled tissues on the desk, and her husband’s too-casual posture. She wasn’t stupid. The thick scent of arousal still lingered in the air, even if it was faint. Lyka quickly composed herself and made a show of sniffing dramatically. “Aiden rejected me again. I feel so sad, Mom. I just needed to complain to Daddy.” She discreetly trashed the used tissue. Luna Daria sniffed the air once more, but the scent had already been expertly masked. As a mere omega, she couldn’t compete with Alpha Ryan’s superior control over his pheromones. “Sister Lyka, you’re here!” Elvis beamed, completely oblivious. “Look at what I got, full marks!” Lyka smiled affectionately and rubbed his hair. “Little Elvis is such a smart boy! Don’t worry, big sister will take you out for a treat later.” His eyes sparkled with joy. Lyka took his hand and led him out of the office, leaving only Luna Daria and Ryan behind. Ryan calmly fixed his shirt and returned to his paperwork as if nothing had happened. Luna Daria’s eyes narrowed with suspicion, a dark thought beginning to form. “The Lycan Kingdom sent us an invitation to the Lunar Ball,” she said carefully. “Too bad your daughter’s reputation is in tatters and she’s already married. She would have made a fine candidate otherwise.” Luna Daria’s eyes turned icy. “What do you mean by that? You want to involve her in your schemes? She’s an innocent child.” Ryan leaned back, resting his chin on his interlaced fingers, a smirk curling his lips. “She may not be my biological daughter, but I assure you, darling, I know her far better than you ever will.” His voice carried a dangerous edge. “Start making preparations. We will be attending the Lunar Ball. His Majesty personally sent the invitation. It would be rude to refuse.” A calculated plan was already forming in his mind. Luna Daria nodded slowly, pushing her lingering suspicions aside for now. Meanwhile, Victoria had been restless for over a week. She was under strict house arrest for reasons she still didn’t fully understand. Ever since she had seen the explosive online news about Myra, she had tried to call her “Lady” to confirm the rumors. The moment she picked up the phone, Carl had seized it. Since then, she had been completely cut off from the outside world. She felt like a prisoner, waking only to eat, sleep, and stare at the walls. Boredom was slowly driving her insane. When a servant finally returned her phone, joy surged through her. She immediately searched for news about Myra, but every article had vanished as if it had never existed. Instead, she found multiple videos of that strange woman from the scandal. Disgust twisted her features. “How vile,” she muttered. She decided then and there to abandon her original plan. It was beneath her to associate with such a w***e. The door opened. Carl walked inside. “Brother! Brother!” Victoria clung tightly to Carl, her voice bubbling with excitement. “I heard the Lunar Ball is in just a few days. I want to book some limited-edition dresses. Who knows? I might catch Matteo’s eye and finally become queen.” Carl wriggled his arms free from her embrace, his expression hardening. “I suggest you drop such foolish thoughts immediately,” he said sternly, making Victoria’s smile falter. “Matteo doesn’t like you. If he had any interest in making advances, he wouldn’t need a public ball to do it.” Victoria frowned deeply. “I love him, brother. I’ve loved him since we were children. I can’t just stop loving him suddenly.” “Can you even hear yourself?” Carl snapped, grabbing her arms with bruising force. “Do you even understand what love is? You’re infatuated with his power and title, not the man himself. Even I can see that — what makes you think he can’t? You will not attend the Lunar Ball. There’s no need to make a mockery of yourself.” He released her abruptly and turned to leave. Victoria collapsed to the floor, tears choking her voice. “How do you know I don’t love him for who he is? I’m the one in love, not you!” Her words made Carl pause mid-step. He walked back slowly and crouched to her level, eyes cold. “Tell me then, what do you actually know about His Majesty?” Victoria opened her mouth, but no words came out. Carl let out a low, mocking chuckle. “Exactly. Judge yourself before making such grand confessions of love.” He stood and pulled her desolate figure up from the floor. As he walked away, Victoria clenched her fists so tightly that her nails dug deep into her palms, drawing blood. If she isn’t suitable for Matteo, then why is that b***h? she thought bitterly. She only met him recently. A dark resolve settled over her. That b***h has to go. Meanwhile, Aiden and Lyka began preparing for their journey to the Lycan Kingdom ahead of the ball to handle the collaboration in person. Aiden deliberately ordered a separate car, refusing to sit anywhere near her. Lyka stood frozen in place, her face tight with rage, fists clenched at her sides as she bit down hard on her lip. She had never been humiliated like this before. He needs to be taught a lesson, she seethed inwardly. She stormed toward her own car and began the journey to the kingdom, her mind already spinning with ways to make him regret his coldness. Back at the training grounds, blood splattered from Myra’s mouth for the fourth time that morning. Riley circled her with a taunting grin. “I didn’t know you were such an incompetent fighter on just your second day,” Riley mocked. “What happened to all that fire and enthusiasm from yesterday? Feeling regretful already? With skin as tan as yours, you’re far less attractive than those beautiful, delicate ladies who’ll be flirting with His Majesty at the Lunar Ball in the coming days.” The words struck a nerve. Myra’s temper flared. She launched forward aggressively, diving straight for Riley’s stomach. Riley sidestepped effortlessly and delivered a sharp kick to her face, dislocating Myra’s nose with a sickening crack. A follow-up punch landed squarely, turning Myra’s face into a bloody mess. “Do you want to fight? Then fight properly!” Riley barked. “You’ll never win if you fight with your emotions. You’re attacking blindly, leaving yourself wide open for your opponent to make you truly blind.” She tossed a clean towel at Myra’s face. “Clean yourself up. We’ll be done within the hour. Rest for a bit, then join the other girls outside.” Myra caught the towel and chuckled despite the pain, wiping the blood from her face. She had endured far worse torture in the past, this was nothing. With a quick, practiced motion, she reset her nose, grimacing only slightly at the sharp sting. Suddenly, excited screams erupted from the girls training outside. “His Majesty has arrived!”
