When Two Beasts Fell in Love

Chapter 41

“What are they doing right now?” Angelique asked Conor who spied and toured around the Lycan Blood Pack. It was amazing that they couldn’t feel Conor. 

“They’re busy celebrating. They’re procrastinating.” Angelique nodded in satisfaction. That was the thing she really wanted to happen, an easy and effective attack. 

“Good! Let’s go!” Angelique muttered then she wore her mask. 

It took her how many months before this thing happened. They have two opponents but Lucio was just a smaller fly than the King, so she will attack him first. 

She observed their movement every day and they discovered that some of them have the same routine however some become lazy for having no fun now. They lay low in attacking small packs because Lucio was cooking something. A bigger and bolder plan that will surely destroy Arcadia when he succeeds. 

Angelique, Conor, a guy named Zack, and Serio lead their own troops. Angelique will secretly attack the pack. They’re like a black ninja in the night. While Conor stood as standby and a backup. 

Zack will be the third and will attack in the middle as a distraction to escape if something happens and can also be the third backup. Meanwhile, Serio’s group will stand as the collector of the wounded. They're mostly filled with healers but they could fight. 

Angelique wore her mask, she’s Lily at the moment. She’s not ready to let the world know who she really is. Because next time, the King will be their enemy. She needed to be careful. Also, there will be no surprise if he knows who she is. 

Kimberly joined the attack like how Angelique told her after their sparring. She’s with Angelique’s group along with Tony. While Kevil will be with Conor, and Clark will come with Zack.  

Everyone will know he’s a Lycan after this. Many will revolt for sure saying she’s just a rebellious daughter. She’s ready to be known as Lily but not as Angelique. 

“Conor, standby!” she instructed. 

“Roger, Alpha!” he answered. 

He signed his men to hide for now. They’re not the main characters so they will have to prepare for their role to come up. 

Zack led his people near the entrance of the pack while Conor’s troops were hiding on the left side. Serio stopped a little far away from Conor’s group, making sure the perimeter was clear. 

Angelique’s troops use a bonnet to hide their faces. They also wore black clothes to camouflage into the dark. It will be an easy kill if they attack in silence. 

When they arrived not far away from the Lycan Blood Pack, Angelique signed what to do. She arranged her troops into three groups. She will lead the first group, then Kimberly and Tony to the other two. 

“Kimberly to the left, and Tony to the right. Kill Lucio’s man and spare those who are not.” They already knew who was the enemy and those who's not. 

They separated their ways and went to the assigned side. They will enter the packhouse through the open window left by their men before they escape. 

One by one, they climbed up the window and entered the room. It was empty, that was really prepared for this. 

Kimberly went in first then made sure no one could see them. They hid when a group went by but if it was just one man, they killed him by slitting the neck. They did it until all ten of them went inside the window. 

While on Tony, someone was inside the room. A man and woman having their own fun. They didn’t have much time left so they knocked them down. They didn’t open the door first and waited for everyone to come in. 

When everyone was there, Tony opened the door and the hallway was clear. They turned on the earpiece to hear what the next thing they would do. 

“Go to the left, there’s a room that needs to be cleaned.” They already knew what the other man meant. 

Meanwhile, Angelique came in with her team. They were open and killed those who’s in their way. They couldn’t react and attack back because they were dead before they could. 

Her team was trained by Serio and they were the best. They became her guard and were ready to protect her with their life if something happened. They were rescued by Angelique, and they wanted to repay her with their life too. 

Some managed to draw a sword but their hand flew away after being decapitated. Before they could scream, they killed him. 

The enemy came out from anywhere, looks like they were informed already. They only knew it was the back door attack, not the inside attack. 

It was an easy task for Angelique, even with the strong warrior of Lucio. It was nothing for them but when a drugged warrior appeared, it was a little hard but manageable. 

Angelique was fearlessly battling with the Lycans, in wolf form or human form. It was nothing for her. Kimberly was way stronger than them even on drugs. 

They never thought that a ‘worthless training’ of Serio was a great training everyone could receive. It surpassed other techniques and ways of fighting. 

Angelique killed whoever blocked her way in entering the packhouse where Lucio was waiting for her. No one knew who she was but they wanted to kill them all. 

“He’s sitting on his so-called throne.” A voice said in Angelique’s earpiece. 

“Copy!” she said and walked faster inside, killing everyone in her way. She wanted to end it all at once. 

Kimberly and Tony were on their way to the small ballroom where Lucio was sitting. They heard everything, so they went there too. But of course, they won’t let their enemy live. They killed every man who was against them. 

Other Lycans stepped back and went back to their Alpha. They were ready to save him if something happened. 

Angelique stopped for a while before she walked inside the said room. She just readies herself to face her sperm donor. She wanted to have a straight mind when she faced him. She didn’t want to kill him easily. It is not enough for his sins. 

Angelique walked in first as her people opened the door. The first thing she saw was Lucio who was being carefree like he owns the world. He’s full of himself that he will win in this war. 

Another door was opened then Kimberly with others came in and followed by Tony and company. They looked fine and no wounds could be seen. Angelique was relieved. 

“Who are you? Who has the guts to attack my territory?” he asked directly, looking at Angelique. 

“Me.” 

Lucik intently looked at her until he recognized her. She’s the only rogue who wears a mask.

“You! Lily!” he exclaimed in surprise. He never thought that Lily would appear in front of him. Anger ignited inside him. He wanted to strangle her until die with eyes wide open and tongue out.  

“Oh, I am glad that the Alpha knows me. What a pleasure,” she said, sarcastically. 

“What do you want? Money? Fame?” he bellowed. 

“Nope. I am here to take what is rightfully mine. Like how you took this pack to your father.” It was in monotone but it made Lucio stopped. He knew what she was implying. 

He laughed like he heard a funny joke. “What? A woman like you want to take my throne?” 

“Why not? You did it too.” 

Angelique saw how Lucio snickered and looked at her with disgust. She never cares about her, especially that she’s a woman. He never cares who is her mother because women for him are just toys. 

“Let’s try if you’re really capable.” He smirked maliciously. “What you have been through was just a little mishap. I am not done yet!” Lucio said with a wicked smirk on his lips.
